Leaders are often portrayed as heroes and role models, but there is also a darker side to being a leader. Adolph Hitler was one of the strongest leaders in the last 100 years, if not the strongest leader of all time. One man had the ability to lead a country, with a population of 20 million people, against the whole world in a vision he saw fit. One man leading Germany out of economic depression after previously being through World War I was an incredible feat. This is indeed what all leaders strive to be. Hitler is one of the best models for inspiring leaders. The five qualities of Hitler’s leadership style are qualities that every leader should have. I would love to be as visionary as Hitler was in his quest to rule the world and create a perfect race. I have trouble sometimes visioning myself to do something or to be somebody therefore, I admire Hitler’s bold vision. He had a tremendous tenacity of vision – he wanted what he wanted, and he did not deny it and he almost got what he wanted. Having a vision will inspire you because it is an image of something you want to reach and it is for prediction for futures changes in yourself. However, no one can expect the exact future, but having a vision will at least make you prepared, instead of just being taken by surprise, at least you would be accepting the idea of change, this means that you understand that things does not stay constant, and so you will be ready for them. Next I think Hitler’s quality of being strong willed is necessary for every leader. When Hitler failed in 1923 to overthrow the Munich government in the famous Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler did not give up. He did his time in prison and then came out more determined and passionate than ever and continued until reaching his goal of becoming the leader of Germany. It took him over 10 years to achieve his goal. I firmly believe that everyone will run into all sorts of trials and delays on their road to achieving their goals.
