His actions throughout the civil rights movement where outstanding and admirable to say the least. His actions were never to be violent and he achieved that goal. He always led peaceful protest that would result in them not to be doing anything wrong. Even in doing so the whites were not so impressed with these actions as they began to punch and throw kicks at them even started to be sprayed by a water hose. All of those things just because they were standing up for who they are and what they believe in. what they believe in is that no man or woman should be lesser than you just because of a different skin pigmentation. When he was elected, he brought youth and a relaing calm to the White House for the first time in our nation's history. Not only did John Kennedy bring youth to our nation's capitol, but he also brought change and new ideas to improve the nation. During his first term in office, Kennedy improved peace talks with the Soviet Union, and was also working on ideas to halt the Vietnam War; however, his work could not be done in a single term as president.
