“We the people” is a phrase that was first coined in the American Constitution. The Constitution is a crucial part towards the foundation of the American government and its established system of checks and balances. In a majority of societies all over the world, the government has always been viewed as the powerhouse and reliable source for a country’s decision-making process. Another similar source of official government documentation exists in the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence was written by the third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. Most of the rights have always belonged and been a part of the people themselves too. The purpose for the creation of the Declaration of Independence was to inform the British Empire that the United States of America no longer wanted to be governed under a sovereign state. There is a reason why it is called the “Declaration of Independence” since it is all in the name and all in the message behind the document. Simply put, the Declaration of Independence was another form of a peace treaty and rule of regulation written exclusively and exceptionally for “we the people”– in other words, the people of America.
Although a strong government is proven to bring in control – take the current United States government, for example – a main takeaway from that history lesson in terms of preventing entropy is: in an ideal world, should it be considered for more government or less government intervention? The government plays a significant role in being a supplier, but it hardly ever gets noticed as being a supporter for the people. Whether it is being viewed from a cultural or even political approach, in all honesty, the less the government intervenes, the better. At the end of the day, the people are the one who carries the most power anyway, not the leaders.
There is a common saying that goes something along the lines of “less is more”. That phrase additionally applies to the overall structure of getting others to follow along with the procedure as well.
