I believe teenagers are most likely to read this book. The material is difficult enough that children won’t pick it up, and most adults wouldn’t be likely to be interested in such a thing. In general, I find teenagers more likely to read diaries- they tend to be more carefree and they can relate to them if a teenager is writing it as well. An adult might think the diary was childish at first and put it down if they didn’t have a valid reason to read it. This is, of course, assuming they didn’t know about the specifics of the book itself and the time period it was written in. Lastly, teengaers may be required to read the book as well, so they are the most likely to pick it up.
