The Dukan Diet In 2000, Dr. Pierre Dukan wrote a book about how to lose weight and how to keep in off. He wanted to make an easy diet that anyone from the Queen of England to just your average girl next door could do. How Dr.Dukan came up with the Dukan Diet is he started out in was working in Neurology and he would tell his patients and friends that if they wanted to lose weight that they needed to eat a high-protein diet. And after seeing great results, he started researching and writing the Dukan Diet. And his book sold over eight million copies. The Dukan Diet is made easy. It has three phases. The first phase is the attack phase, this phase it the hardest one and a big lifestyle change. The attack phase is the pure protein diet. This can last from 2 to 7 days. This phase is were you will lose much of your weight. “This phase you can only eat pure portion, Such as lean meats such as Beef, Veal, Pork Lamb, Fish, Shellfish, Poultry and eggs. But just make sure you drink plenty of water it is recommended that you drink up to 2 quarts of water. And you will be tired in this phase so if you don’t feel like exercising then that’s ok.
