Gas turbine blades are subjected to high thermal loads caused by the high temperature of the gases entering the cascade. The pressure difference between the blade pressure surface and the blade suction surface induces tip leakage flow, which increases heat transfer in the blade tip region. In this paper, the three dimensional flow and heat transfer are examined for an internally cooled blade cascade with tip injection using numerical technique. The three-dimensional turbulent flow was obtained by solving Reynolds averaged Navier Stokes equations and the energy equation. The Shear Stress Transport (SST) k- model was employed to represent turbulent flow. The cooling air is injected from eleven holes with 3 mm diameter arranged along the blade chamber line.
