The title of this feature film that I will be providing an analysis on is titled Enough. The production company is Columbia Pictures and this film was made in 2002. Enough was filmed in the United States of America and directed by Michael Apted. Director Michael Apted was born in England and he is best known for his films for The World Is Not Enough, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the film this analysis will focus on entitled Enough. The film Enough is relevant to society because it exemplifies how spousal abuse and abuse against women is prevalent concern in society. This issue of domestic abuse can range from sexual assault to murder. This is a very serious concern that not only women, but men as well may face in society. Domestic violence can distress any type of person regardless of their religion, ethnicity, age, or socio-economic status. Violence of this sort is also relevant to society because it impacts more than just simply the victim; it tends to be a cycle that may transfer to children whom may repeat the cycle or may enter abusive relationships themselves. Society is impacted from this because it carries on into many social services or agencies such as police courts, schools, hospitals, etc. I think the director made this film to give some sort of insight into violence against women, specifically spousal abuse.
