Humans expand the greenhouse effect through many activities and processes: using landfills, burning fossil fuels, industrialization, deforestation, agriculture, and even the use of livestock. While it seems like these activities would not have much to do with the expansion of the greenhouse effect, they emit gases that can stay in the atmosphere for an extended period. Many greenhouse gases are overlooked and people usually just classify it as Carbon Dioxide, but really there are other gases such as methane which is 84 times more potent than Carbon Dioxide.
