A competent electrician, has to have a full knowledge of Current Wiring Regulation BS7671 standard to 17th Edition (IEE,2002), and has to be registered by ‘Competent Person Scheme’ Like NICEIC or NAPIT who offers work guarantee to customers (IEE, 2008).Part P in building regulations requires all domestic electrical installation to be installed by a competent person, in addition to issued a certificate that comply with current regulation (NICEIC and ECA,2004).
