Cassius was a Roman nobleman who was talking to his friend Brutus, and said “ The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are under willing.” Meaning he is trying to convince Brutus to stop Caesar from becoming a Monarch. In this quote he is arguing that it is not fate, but weakness of the character that forces a person to act against his will. This quote relates to the lives of cancer patients because if a person just has gotten the new of cancer, their weakness forces a them to act against their will. As in what will they do with the thought of death in their mind now? How will they tell family members, do they even want family members to know such a heartbreaking news? What happens next?
