Godzilla: King of the Monsters had great potential, or as much potential a movie about a giant lizard can have, but it was just that, potential. The script was very redundant and the set design was horrible. While trying to portray a message of the many dangers of nuclear warfare, the viewer leaves confused and frustrated that they have just wasted time and money. I would give Godzilla: King of the Monsters one out of five stars. It may have been moderate in the 50’s, but it is horrible now. The filming is very fuzzy and very low quality. It is very difficult to make out the details in the film. The sound quality was also very horrible. It was like listening to the movie through an old cell phone.
