After sitting on the Throne of Bones for countless centuries, the first Arch-Necromancer in the history walked of the stage. He had cheated death for over a thousand years and still wasn´t able to break the chains of his mortal body. His wish to ascend to godhood failed miserably. In his over a thousand year long regain nobody ever dared to attack his people, but the iron fist he used to frighten his enemies also scared his own people. He had no family and friends anymore, death claimed them all sooner or later, everything that death left him was a kingdom scared of his own ruler. So he embraced death like an old friend.
Nobody remembers this king. Not even a legend of him remains anymore. Somebody only truly dies when nobody remembers this

Although he wasn´t the youngest his mighty steps showed his undying resolve to reach his goal. The time since he started his walk can´t even be measured anymore in hours or days, to be true the time couldn´t even be measured in years anymore. His undying resolve didn´t even decrease a bit since he started the journey. He didn´t even stop walking to eat or sleep.
But it looks like his journey will soon end, as for the first time since he started to walk along this never ending river, he suddenly heard a voice in his head "Isn´t it time to give up old man?" The voice he heard sounded like a little girl. "Don´t you see that your journey is useless?"
The old man only chuckled "My journey is not finished and so i will keep walking until my journey is finished. i only want to talk to him nothing more and nothing less, that’s why I believe soon or later he will meet up with me."
"*sigh* After you visited all eighteen hells, you went to search for us siblings. How many did you meet already? Didn´t you meet up with Acheron, Lethe, Kokytos, Phlegethon, and Eridanus? I, Styx, am the last rivers spirits, am i right?" beside the old man a boat with a young girl sitting on a bench emerged. The girl looks to be around 12 years old. She had long black hair; it looked like her hair is absorbing all the light in the surrounding. In here big green eyes the old man could see

Despite Beowulf’s almost supernatural strength, stamina and stature, he ages just the same as any other human being. In the human life cycle, one generally begins naive and inexperienced and ages into an adult of more wisdom and knowledge. Akin to others in his time, Beowulf starts as a young fearless warrior and grows into an aged prudent king.

As the story flows, the doctor has healed many and is gaining quite a reputation. The king in this case represents the greed that can consume a man once he has had a taste of success. The king becomes ill and the doctor is summoned to confirm or deny his fate. The doctor sees Death standing at the king’s feet; this as it is known to the doctor is certain death. The doctor knows Death will forgive him; after all he is Death’s godson. The doctor defies Death’s wishes and turns the king around to where death is now standing at his head.

Vlad the Impaler wasn’t your ordinary king. Most kings are born into power and don’t have to work for it. Vlad, however, suffered through captivity and witnessing his father’s assassination till he could finally gain the control of Wallachia. Vlad, the Impaler's cruel methods of punishing his enemies, gained attention in 15th-century Europe and created a lasting effect for years to come.
In Book 6, my group translated several lines that talked about Aeneas’ arrival at the river Styx. This scene in the Aeneid is traveling through the river Styx, and one of the main scenes that we see is that there is much suffering here. The Boatman, whose name is Chiron, is talking to Aeneas. He describes the river as “ a place of shadows, of Sleep and drowsy Night:” (umbrarum hic locus est, somni noctisque soporae:). This description is not one of welcoming, but instead one of foreboding as the underworld is a place of suffering. Chiron then continues on to say that “ I am not allowed to carry

Although “the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step”, this specific step is extremely hard to take considering the amount of courage it takes a youngster to decide to face the world on his own. The obvious questioning in the song’s chorus whether it actually is time to begin is a result of fear and hesitance the singer was undergoing at the time, something I can completely understand as I experienced similar emotions during the time I made my decision. It cannot be any more true that “The path to heaven runs through miles of clouded hell right to the top”, something that has terrorized my thoughts and haunted my dreams for months as I was leaving my parents’ house to live the life I chose for myself. I still question my decision every day, I still wonder why I could not settle for something that wouldn’t require me as many sacrifices. It’s Time came to tell me that the struggle will always be there and that it should not be enough to keep me from following my
