Food For Health we are the products of what we eat. It is very used well used and known quotes y most of the people on earth. The food we eat is truly the main source of energy, and plays factor roles in mantling the body well-functioning and healthy. A person needs to eat the right nutrients. There are two big categories of nutrients. These are macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients includes carbohydrate, fat and proteins. Vitamins and minerals are categorized under micronutrient. On this paper we are going to talk about the how both macronutrients and micronutrients are very vital for the body and how we can obtain them from the food we eat. Macronutrients are a group of nutrients which our body need in the most. They are very vital nutrients. Unlike the vitamins and minerals, we have to include macronutrients in our daily basis. Carbohydrate, protein and fat are the three good examples of macronutrients. Carbohydrate for instance is the immediate source of energy in the body and they are very vital in the body to maintain the energy level. We can find carbohydrate from most sweet foods, whole grains, fruits, most vegetables (Hartel, 2013). Proteins are the main source of building block in the human body. They are very vital in the process building muscle and bone growth, maintaining the number of cells, and repairing body tissue. Without protein our body cannot do all of the above functions at all.
