(Winston and Patterson 2006). Among the various great leaders who influenced me, Steven Spielberg stands out, as I consider him to be the most creative transformational leader of this century. Steven Spielberg is an American filmmaker, co-founder of DreamWorks Studios, who is considered as one of the founding pioneers of the New Hollywood era. He is regarded as one of the most influential and popular director and producer in film history. In a career spanning more than four decades, his films have explored various themes and genres like science-fiction, adventure and humanism. He is frequently listed or tops the most influential celebrities in America or the world by various magazines like Time, Forbes, Life (A&E 2015). Spielberg took initiative as a leader because he was passionate, imaginative, obsessive at an early age and wanted to make entertaining creative content with commercial elements (McBride 1997). It is apparent through his early films that he was undoubtedly Hollywood’s boy wonder as everything he touched turned into gold yet also for his persistent innocent outlook on the world, which circled around childhood adventures, hopes and fears in his films. George Lucas is one of the most impressive filmmakers in the world. With a lot of education and background in film has he grown to change the movie industry to something incredible. Lucas was a young boy, born 1944, that was interested in cars and racing, but his interests did soon change into filmmaking after he had been filming the cars that Lucas and his friends would use to race. George Lucas passion for developing picture and sound changed the film industry into something unimaginable.
George Lucas is by far one of the most influential figures that has been and will be within the show business. He is the creator of huge movie series such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. He also established a production company for directors and creative people alike, LucasFilms Ltd. However, he did not get to this point of fame out of nowhere. It all started when he was born in May 14, 1944 in Modesto, California. George did not get so good grades in high school. He then attended University of Southern California and the School of Cinema Arts. His early influences include movies about motor racing since this was his passion, motor racing, when he was younger. He used to film car races while in college which sparked his new passion for film.
Known as one of the greatest and most famous films of all time, Jaws was recognized as a summer blockbuster after its release in June 1975. Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg, was highly known for its outstanding cinematography, scenic music, as well as the effect it had on filmmaking history with the tremendously small budget they had of 9 million dollars. This film created a summer blockbuster by being the start of great suspense, action, and strong effects and explosions. Movies these days have extreme CGI effects where many viewers may not be amazed nor shocked about, but Jaws, being the first film with solid effects, has impacted a vast audience. Jaws and the notion of the blockbuster have a huge connection and relation due to the impact it brought to millions of viewers and greater films it has impacted and created.
George Lucas has accomplished much in his 70 years of life. There are many people in Hollywood who would give anything for a fraction of his success. Yet one of the best things about George Lucas is that he is essentially the same person who decided to change career paths from a hospital bed in 1962 to become one of the most influential filmmakers in Hollywood history.

Walt Disney is extremely known for being a film producer and popular showman. He was very recognizing for being an innovator in animation and theme park design. Disney was a visionary in terms of cartoons. Disney views and visions came from his persistence for the future. Walt Disney strives upon building Disney’s to have core strengths in three areas of entertainment and recreation, motion pictures and videos. Walt created his first animated character, Mickey Mouse.
In this ever growing, rapid developing world as we can see today, there are many different successful leaders. As we know it, leaders are humans just like everyone else. How did they manage to stand out from the crowd? What did they do to achieve great success for an organization? As of all the successful leaders in the world, Steve Jobs is one of the successful leaders that managed to achieve great success for an organization. Therefore, Steve Jobs is the leader that I personally admire and would like to emulate.
