Nowadays, human resource management is getting more and more important due to more corporations consider being a strategic, forward thinking, globalized and low cost but high productive business. In order to achieve a valuable ‘people’ dimension of a success business, human resources management need to take into account. Human resource management is not only benefits the company’s profits but also take good care of employees such as training, development, communications and reward systems. There are four basic functions of human resources management, which are staffing, training and development, motivation and maintenance. First, staffing is the premier step of human resource management, which, include strategic human resources planning, recruitment and selection. Different theories have different opinion and ideas on creating motivation for jobs. For example, in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, there’re five models of needs in sequence of urgency that starts with physiological needs, safety needs, belongingness and love needs, esteem needs and self-actualization. The theory of Maslow, people meets the higher level of needs only if they have satisfaction from lower level of needs. The theory of Maslow states unless there’s a hundred percentage of physiological of a person, or it would dream about others. Based on the theory of Maslow, people will try to achieve a basic living-salary of job in order not to get hungry first.
