After Jesus had been crucified and rose on the third day he gathered the disciples and told them, “Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age” God commands us Christians to go out into the world and share the gospel to all nations. Sharing the gospel is not easy! Luckily God has sent us help. John 16:13 says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard…from me.” I am one of the many whom God has called to work in missions. God has placed on my heart through the power of the Holy Spirit to go out into the world to further his kingdom. In this paper I will be discussing the Holy Spirit’s involvement in missions. The focus of mission’s is to glorify God. This is done through sharing the gospel to others. “Gods first mission to the earth was sending Jesus from heaven to the world (unreached people) to show God’s zeal for the glory of God.” We are trusted by God to share his word to the unreached. God, himself, is the perfect example of a missionary. He sent his son into the world so that Jesus would share about salvation. It is through the Holy Spirit that “is the essence of mission, the core of why we do what we do and how we live our lives.” The Spirit should be
