Ok, they all say that hindsight is 20/20. Perhaps volunteering in the heat of the moment was not the best choice he could have made. He understands that now. Although given the time to practice at whatever station he could choose to go to, he instead spent his time trying to figure out how to leave the building that they were all held in. He thought it would be easy to disappear for an hour or so, wandering the streets of the Capitol, asking if the everyday citizens of the area condone the actions of the few. His intention was to vanish when everyone else was training to survive. During that time, he would be getting information elsewhere. Due to the circumstances of these games, there are over twice as many tributes. This is quite awkward as he has to attempt to stand outshine some of the other tributes to get a high score, but his plan from the beginning was to appear the idiotic, dimwit child that he has projected as himself to all that are around him. Honestly, this shouldn’t be too hard for him to accomplish because he hasn't really prepared anything for his private session with the Gamemakers, so he doesn’t even need to pretend he’s intelligent, he will just look foolish from the get go. As he is called in for his session, he walks straight towards the only machine that interested him enough to take some time out of his find-a-way-out-of-the-room plan. The device turns on with the simple click of a button and it tests a person’s memory on edible and poisonous plants.
