Hobbit Essay: Emerging Hero Is Bilbo Baggins, from The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien a lonely hobbit or is he the most heroic hero there is? Bilbo learns that he is capable of doing many things during his adventure, learning many things that were hidden away from his great ancestors on the Tookish side. Bilbo learns from Thorin and the other dwarves how to be courageous, heroic and intelligent, but above all else how to lead the expedition into the great unknown with a victory. His traits and will to learn stand out to the other dwarves who later begin to admire his greatness.
These three characters each play key roles in developing the plot and creating suspense. The hero is represented by Bilbo in this story. On page 4, the author explains,”This hobbit was a very well-to-do hobbit, and his name was Baggins.” Bilbo was a very ordinary hobbit in the beginning.
For instance, the book talks about how the greasers felt and how their feelings were, then in the movie, it didnt talk about it but it showed it. The way that they showed it was not as good as it was written. When reading we don't fall in love with the characters' appearance. We fall in love with their words, their thoughts, and their hearts. We fall in love with their soul. In movies we focus more on appearance and what's going on in the background, which then gets people distracted from what the character is feeling and their thoughts. On the other hand, you can see the actions of the characters in the movie, which might help you process the way they act, however with the book the author can use what he thinks and try to give people a general idea of everything. For an example in the book it talks about how Randy
In contrast, others characters that had heroic characteristics were Gandalf, Bard, and Beorn. These were also heroes because each one had characteristics that meet the description of a hero’s personality. Gandalf, a wizard that encouraged Bilbo in his quest, was a hero in the novel because he was very brave, smart, and he was a wizard. Gandalf proved his courage many times during the novel. The first action was when Bilbo and the dwarves were captured by the trolls and Gandalf smartly decided to distract them until the sun arrived and

The Hobbit is a piece of prose written by J. R. R. Tolkien. It is a story about a young hobbit who is faced with the quest to come along and help beat Smaug, the dragon who stole the dwarves home. Bilbo, who is more cowardly, wanted to say no but didn't, and he agreed to come on the quest to get the dwarves' land back in return for a bit of treasure. As they go on their quest, they are faced with many dangers and problems, even after Gandalf the wizard leaves them midway through the journey. The novel allows us to use our imagination more than the movie does. For example, in the book we could imagine how we thought the people and surrounding would look and in the movie we saw what someone else thought they looked. Another example is when the church was on fire we got to imagine what the fire and the kids looked like inside
I think in the book you can really feel the emotions of the characters more. I felt like I was there in the book. I also did in the movie, but not as much. The book goes into more details of the characters, so I felt like I really knew them. When Johnny and Dally die in the book, I felt like I was somewhat losing a friend, also. When I watched the movie I didn’t feel as much that way. In the book I think I really understood what was happening. I knew what was happening in the movie, but most of the time only because I had read the book first. For example, I wouldn’t

The difference between the developing way of books and movies is magnificently huge because the way of emotion transmitting is different; the movie is based on vision, while the book is based on words.
I love your book tremendously. I have always been a fan of mythical and magical books. Your book have had a lot of drama where there were various ways to escape in certain circumstances and when Bilbo and his team were attacked multiple times. It also had a lot of suspense when they were nearly killed or eaten.
