By His stripes I am alive and well today. At the time I was born again I was bleeding from my nose and mouth, and when I would go to the bathroom I would see traces of blood. I didn't need a physical exam to know that something was seriously wrong in my body. I was so happy to be saved and free from drug addiction and alcoholism that I was willing to accept the fact that I was dying.
Then I heard a preacher on television boldly say that by His stripes we were healed. I had never heard that before! I listened

The word health used in this passage is the Hebrew word marpe which means medicine according to the Strong’s[1] Exhaustive Concordance. 04832. marpe', mar-pay'…literally medicine, or a cure. So we could read this verse with that understanding:
For they are life unto those that find them, and medicine to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:22
We have a prescription given to us by the Great Physician Himself! Just as you would read the instructions on a medicine bottle and take the medicine accordingly, so should we be obedient in taking in God’s Word. If the instructions on a medicine bottle say to take it three times a day, then that is what is necessary for the medicine to do its work.
The Word of God is our medicine. If we will take our medicine daily as prescribed by our heavenly Doctor, then it will daily do the necessary work to bring or keep healing in manifestation. Don’t let reasoning, medical statistics, or any diagnosis take away the power of God’s healing Word through Jesus’ stripes.
Again, the book of Proverbs says:
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Proverbs 3:7-8
The Bible is a sacred book of scriptures that Christians and people of the Jewish faith believe is the written account of the word of God. Many different authors composed the works that make up the Bible. It is said that Jesus Christ is the son God who was sent to be the Lord and Savior of all people. Many Christians and Jewish people believe the Bible is the way of life. Those who believe and follow the beliefs of the Bible and God’s word will have eternal life if they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Bible has been in print and given to others for hundreds of years. The first King James Bible was published back in the year 1611. Within the King James Version, it used to contain what are now known as the canons. A biblical canon is a set or series of related books. The canons, within the King James Version, these were called the books of the apocrypha. Apocrypha means ‘hide away’ in Greek. The apocrypha is a collection of books that were located in between the Old Testament and the New Testament. For over 270 years, the books of the apocrypha were published in the King James Version of the Bible.
There are several theoretical pitfalls a Christian may encounter when grappling with his or her illness or that of a loved one. For example, it may be tempting to place one's faith in modern medicine and forget that God provides the power with which to access, use, and succeed with modern medicine. This point of view is understandable given the secular nature of the modern medical system. Yet only God is responsible
‘Health we must have; and health is proportion; so that when a man comes into your room and says he is Christ… …and has a message… …and threatens… …to kill himself, you invoke proportion; order rest in bed; rest in solitude; silence and rest; rest without friends, without books; without messages; six months’ rest…’ (Page 110).
There are times in our life when each of us has fallen ill. Many of us immediately consult the doctors. Our faith appears to have disappeared. As diligently members of the church, we do not stop to consulting God for His medical assistance. We can all identify with the woman with the issue of blood and how she spent all she had before she meet up with Jesus and just by reaching out and touching just the hem of His garment. She was made whole. Hezekiah quickly turns to the wall and consults God for a miraculous healing immediately. God extended His life just like that. We must gather ourselves and remember where all of our help comes from and that is the Lord. As, the trials of life comes about, we are waiting on the Lord. The fact of the
King Solomon was inspired by the Holy Spirit and wrote Proverbs as if it was to His children. Proverbs was written around 900 B.C. during his reign as king in Israel. Proverbs is divided into nine sections and this chapter is part of the third section as the main collection of Solomon’s Proverbs according to Biblestudytool.com.
If we really believe, keep doing what he wants us to do, we will certainly hear the same affirmation that poor, but now so blessed man heard. “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in
"All of it is clear to a person who has understanding and right to those who have acquired knowledge." (Proverbs 8:6-9)
Proverbs 2:6-8, "It is the Lord who gives wisdom; from him come knowledge and understanding. He provides help and protection for righteous, honest men. He protects those who treat others fairly, and guards those who are devoted to him."
A true witness delivers souls, but a deceitful witness speaks lies” (Proverbs 14:24-25). Being a diligent man does not mean to hoard what the Lord has given you, but to share the knowledge and wisdom of God with all he comes in contact with. “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him” (Proverbs 26:4). This is a warning to those who walk with the Lord in their hearts. Do not answer a fool in a foolish manner; answer them with the wisdom that God has given you. Share the wisdom of God so they might change their ways.
The book takes a Biblical approach to health while also considering the facts and findings of health

There are many arguments in this passage. The first argument is this passage is “medicine is supposed to heal people, not prepare them for execution”. The premise is “medicine is supposed
As stated, similarly, this wicked occurrence of the jinn seems to parallel the Hebrews with the practice of Seirim worship, only acknowledging them by different names. Still, the Hebrews Exile onwards had reached a religious development quite advanced beyond their distant ancestors. As discussed, the fact that they would not permit any reference to beliefs that transpired as detestable to them and took measures to illuminate their destruction, helped to curve their involvement. Certainly, so far as necromancy (the practice of supposedly communicating with the spirits of the dead in order to predict the future) occurs, we see in the majority of Hebrew cases, the mere rationale for it being recognized existed purposely to become condemned as clashing with the LORD and therefore the obsession became evasively vague or not mentioned at all. Creditably, this explanation clarifies why the Biblical referencing to Satan or goat devils occurs elusively nonexistent.
"No one likes rejection, so become informed, love the truth of God, and be saved from the grips of the evil one or his false teachers." ~ Jon Barnes
Due to many different interpretations through translation of scriptures, there are many different viewpoints of disease etiology and healing. For this reason, not all Christians believed in the same methods of healing or even how these diseases came about (Amundsen, 1982, pg. 1). Amundsen states that some Christians saw naturalistic as the ultimate cause which contrasted other beliefs that the naturalistic approach was inferior and saw that supernatural powers were the ultimate cause of disease. This shows that Christians were influenced by both personalistic and naturalistic etiologies on disease and health. In summary, although in Christianity not all scriptural texts are translated exactly the same, there is the overlapping viewpoint among Christians that God is the ultimate healer and through Him, disease comes as a result of sin (Amundsen, 1982, pg.
