I was sitting in the international terminal and was staring at a plane and thinking it was bigger than ever thought because I only saw a plane in the sky like a bird, then I heard flight number," AI 942 from Delhi to Chicago is ready to board". I handed my ticket to the women and got in to the plane. The hostess welcomed me and helped me to find out my seat, and sat on the aisle side and looking outside and everything around me, first thing I noticed was a curtain separating business class from the economic class and then I noticed a white air vent and a light above my head and I can adjust with my hand. There was a head phone to listen to music and a small screen in front of every chair to watch movies. A young women around her 30's came and
I boarded the plane and got corner seat in middle row. After 25 min plane started moving, as plane was moving my heartbeat also started increasing. As plane took off and climbed up to 33000 feet in short period. Everyone in plane were sleeping, but I was kept thinking about my future life. I am moving to new country which is very different than my home country India. Moving
I rushed over to check in and retrieve my boarding pass. Lately a lot of planes have been going missing, which is all I could think about the whole time. “Flight 23 is now boarding.” I carried my carry on baggage onto the plane. I looked down at my boarding pass and realized that I was already at my seat. There was a man sitting in my designated seat. I was too nervous about the flight to even question him. I sat down next to him. I looked out the window and noticed in the distance that dark cumulus clouds were being formed. There was a strong wind that hit my side of the plane, furiously shaking the whole aircraft. Having hope was the only thing that came to mind every time negative thoughts would

I'm one of those that's not sure-footed...I'm always afraid I'm going to fall into someone's lap if I'm passing out goodies or tickets while the bus in moving!
I felt my eyes open and I heard a loud buzzing noise, I realized I was in a plane. I tried to sit up but I felt tied and sleepy I never knew why. I finally had enough strength to sit up, I saw someone hovering over me. It was the person who was at my door, I quickly took a glance at my body I was wearing jeans and a shirt I never remember wearing this. The person standing over me finally said something and it was like he knew what I was going to say “Sir you are on one of are any aircraft we are heading to England we are going to drop you of and you are a spy ready to head straight into that country”, “but sir I never agreed to such thing” I replied. “We know but you are under military control and we can make you do anything”, he replied.
It was 40,000 feet above the ground. A big bald white guy shoves himself in an economy class seat next to the window with his big puffy sky-blue pillow by his side. The other passengers might have wondered how did he carry such a big pillow with him and why would he, but many sure are jealous of him. May be it was worth it to carry such a big pillow. It was a full flight with a 3-4-3 seating arrangement and the plane was dark. It was almost silent, but there were the machine sounds of the heavy plane flying against all the wind and turbulence. Despite all the physical pain he must be in after sitting for 6 hours straight on a 14 hours flight, he must be mentally in heaven. The girl beside him was trying to sleep, fiddling around until she finds the perfect position with the free pillow they gave on the plane. The free pillow were so tiny and as thin as paper. Meanwhile his head rested perfectly well on his gigantic pillow, forgetting all the pains and boredom the others are experiencing. Disconnected from the pain of his butt being squished onto the seat, his legs up against the back of another seat and his arms strictly trying not to touch the person beside him. It was inner peace. The cramped body position felt like he was sitting on a cactus and wrapped with string, while his mind was floating on white puffy clouds above a peaceful bright sky.
I had never been on an airplane. My stomach felt like I had just eaten rotten fish and I was about to throw up. I was so excited to go, but at the same time I was scared because I had never been on a plane. We waited in the airport for at least an hour. Finally our flight was called, as I walked on the plane my heart was about to jump out of my skin. After the flight attendant had went through all the rules and we put our seat belts on the plane was going to take off. I thought the worst thing about the flight was taking off and landing. I didn?t like taking off and landing because my ears popped. Other than the fact that my ears popped taking off and landing the flight went smooth, we didn?t crash. When the plane landed, I couldn?t wait to stand on solid ground again.
I barely open my eyes and see a roof of a big airplane, a couple feet away. I gaze around and see my mom, who has shorts and a tank top on, to my left, and my dad, who has khakis and a T-shirt, to my right. I sit up and look at the GPS hanging down from the roof of the airplane. The GPS said we are right on the shoreline. I tried to peek out the window, but we were in the middle section of the broad airplane. Soon enough, I get a good look out the window and saw the island. Hawaii! I did a little ‘happy dance’ in my head. I couldn’t wait for the beach. Unfortunately, I was in long pants, and I frowned. It was hot too, and there was no air conditioning on the plane. I took off my blanket as the pilot came on a speaker.
The light to put our seatbelts on glowed as the captain spoke to us and flight attendants acted out safety instructions. At take-off my stomach was filled with butterflies, but I wasn't scared. My body was pushed into the seat but I pretended I was the captain of a fighter jet. When we were stable I discovered that flying wasn't that bad. And the ocean looked beautiful out the windows! I put on my CD player until the played the in-flight movie, Planet of the Apes. I didn't like it so I kept listening to my CD player all the way through dinner. I fell asleep but the sound of the captains voice woke me. He was telling us there was an hour left of the flight. Flight attendants asked us to stow away our bags and prepare for landing. Butterflies were fluttering in my stomach again as I anticipated the landing. I felt the plane lose
This was the most terrifying day I’ve experienced, even though it should have been exciteful. As we awaited our plane I thought of every imaginable thing that could go wrong during our flight. It felt like an eternity as we waited, our plane arrived and we boarded. Of course the way our flight worked, we got the smallest plane possible and I was seperated from my grandma and cousin. I was worried at first but then I calmed quickly. Our first flight was about 2 hours long, and I thought we would never land, my legs were frozen and numb from sitting for so long. We finally had reached Dallas, Texas We got off the plane and the airport was gigantic and beautiful. As we were finding our next gate, we walked up and down the halls, there was every fast food restaurant you could think of; McDonald’s of course, Chick-fil-a, Panda Express, and so many more. Our gate was across the airport, we had to get on a automatic train and I literally mean automatic. There was no driver and it was on its own track, I thought this
As everyone boarded the plane, I wondered who would be sitting in the open seat next to me. The seat remained empty for quite a while. We were just about getting ready to take off before I heard a man with a deep voice yelling, “ wait wait, im here.” It was then that I knew he would be taking the empty seat next to me. We all buckled our seatbelts and prepared for the the pressure of taking off. We were all asked to turn our phones off, which forced us to start a conversation with the person sitting next to us. I looked over and the man sitting next to me was a tall man who was thin in stature. He had brown hair, green eyes, and a black hat on. I began to try and start a conversation with him but he said very little. He seemed to be very quiet and kept to himself. I asked him where he was headed and he replied with a mumble, and said “my friends.” I didn’t really try to talk to him any more, I let him be. As the plane ride continued I suddenly felt a big jerk. Since I had never been on a plane I was worried, I then asked the man sitting next to me if that was normal? He replied with a shakiness to his voice, and said “I don’t think so!” From there I began
Stepping foot onto the plane you are automatically greeted by warm smiles and handshakes. Both the flight attendant’s and pilot’s uniforms appear so clean and proper. As an attendant speaks, her voice is almost considered annoying because of how screechy and preppy it sounds. Following the guy in front of you, down the aisle, you feel like you’re being towered over due to how tall he is. Continuing slowly down the aisle your correct seat finally appears in front of you. You squat down to pick up your bright blue hard shelled carry on suitcase to store in the overhead bin. Looking up and putting your suitcase away you see it disappear as it falls gently back into the storage area. You watch as various people around you slam their suitcases into their overhead bins and a loud bang is sounded as the suitcase hits the back of the storage container. Looking down at your navy blue leather seat you just know that seat will feel like sitting on a luxurious cloud. Grabbing the silver part of the seat belt chills automatically run up your arms because that’s just how cold the inside of the airplane is.
I was sitting on the floor stretching before I had to get on the plane. Before I knew it, we were boarding the plane. My parents were whispering about something. I couldn’t understand them, but I knew it was none of my business, and they would just get mad at me if I asked. At 12:30 the plane starting shaking and took off.
I had to catch the first flight that usually left the airport at eight in the morning. My mind was racing with untold excitement and apprehension. I had never been to Kenya before but that was not the hard bit. What kept my mind racing with excitement and possible disappointment was the fact that I had never met David in person yet he is the friend I was going to visit. In exactly an hour, I was ready to leave the house. I bid my family goodbye and left for the airport. My name is {Student’s name} and I am the most adventurous person in my family and that is my parents included. While growing, I only knew the world around me and the culture around me. I only knew my families around me and the great attributes of my country. The great tourist attraction we were and never stopped to think of the world outside of our borders. Thanks to the social media, I met a friend in the internet called David. David was just my age but was on the other continent called Africa. By then, I knew he was Kenyan who lived in the outskirts of the capital city, Nairobi. The cab driver patted me on the back and said, “Hey, we are at your destination sir.” We had already reached the airport and I couldn’t even remember anything particular I was thinking about on the way. “Okay sir, thanks for the ride.” I told him as I got out of the car. We bid each other goodbye and I was on my own for the first time and heading to a country I had never been to. The flight was cool and uneventful; we touched down
While packing, I was going through mixed emotions. I was scared but also excited. It was time and I panicked “but could this vocation really be that bad”, I asked myself. We arrived at the airport in no time. Inside the airplane it was warm and comfortable, the scenery calmed me down a bit and I got comfortable. Time was going as slow as a turtle. Nap was so good but the pilot interrupted with an announcement “we have arrived at our destination” Kariba Nairobi, Kenya and there was a big sign that said “Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya”. It was very beautiful, my eyes was watery due to steering at the sign.
