What makes a Hero? The making of a hero comes from the person who will be the hero themselves. When becoming a hero, you embark on a cycle known as the Hero’s Journey. This cycle leads through a simplistic route that most heroes take: The normal life, call to adventure, refusal, meeting the mentor, crossing the threshold, Tests/allies/enemies, approach, ordeal, reward, return, new life, resolution, and back to the normal life. There are some who don’t follow through this journey completely, but still manage to get some of the parts of this Journey into it’s story. The function of a hero is to ultimately achieve their true self, most times helping people along the way. The hero gets rewarded in the end with it being a helpful tool, to just more courage. The same can go for firefighters, only they help by putting out fires that can damage homes, or even kill people. Much the same as policemen, they put their lives on the line to help us, and get their reward as well, more paychecks.
Now since there are the the good guys, there will always be some of the baddies as well, how else will the heroes help the world without some of them causing trouble for it? A bad guy/girl/thing can come in all shapes and sizes, for example a paper, holding a paper the wrong way can get you a papercut, which nobody will ever enjoy. Another example would be criminals, who mainly commit crimes for their own “benefit.” Criminals can consist of burglars, murderers, gang members, convicts, and plenty more. They commit crimes by hurting others with their actions, which is why the heroes step in.
Heroes are good, unless we see a hero turn to a villain. Heroes go through long treacherous journeys, helping us people along the way, and they still have their normal
A function of a hero is protecting others from harm and also putting themselves in harm’s way first. This means that they will be willing to risk their life for someone or more to live. Why they do this is because someone protected them early in their life and wants to do the same for others, or wants to help since they care for others. Heroes don’t save others for rewards, but their reward is everyone safe and well. A hero doesn’t always need to put
When people think of a hero, they do not understand you don't need to be just like superman, you don't need to be able to fly, or be immortal and never die. There is no need to wear a mask, save the world, or have special powers. To me, any regular person can become a hero in their own way. I believe a hero can be found in any piece of literature, most main characters are all heroes, but they are all heroes in a different way. To me, in order to be a hero, all you need to do is put someone else's life in front of your own, if you can change someone else's life you can then call yourself a hero. Aristotle once said that a tragic hero is "one who does not fall into misfortune though vice or depravity, but falls because of some mistake".
What is a hero without a villain? “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” – Christopher Reeve This quote from Christopher Reeve describes the truth to be told about heroes, it’s like how a baby first learns how to walk, mistakes after mistakes are made, but they finally get it in the end, this is what defines a hero: persistence, determination and their faith in humanity. Why is it that in life we come across so many people who we know that we shouldn’t care about, but still we’d do anything to save and take care of them, why is this? Is it humane?
Because of the difficult obstacles and chaos by the world, the function or purpose of a hero is necessary. Many people depend on others, who are stronger or braver than themselves, when they are in need. Some people also need someone to look up to. Having someone to look up to will bring inspiration and motivation to them. Heroes also provide ease and reassurance to us, making us feel safe and protected at all times. We as people need heroes to guide, influence and inspire us. Heroes guide us to the greater things, influence us to be better, and inspire us to be courageous, brave, devoted, strong, and have justice. These are only some of the most important traits of a hero.
Heroes are not people in comic books or movies. Heroes are people who protect the innocent and punish the guilty. They are all around us, but we do not always recognize them. We do not appreciate the sacrifices they make in able to keep us safe. Look at police officers always taking time from their families, working to keep the rest of us out of harm’s way. There are military officers deployed to help other countries in need and help them fight their enemies. Due to these brave actions, we are a strong and independent country. Heroes must possess imperative qualities that define them as above average such as humbleness, courage, and tenacity

In conclusion, a hero is any person who transmutes the life of another person in a positive way. No one has to kill monsters, rescue girls, or lead a war to be a hero. You don’t have to have superhuman Strength or be recognized to be a hero. There is one characteristic that all heroes must have. Whether you're preserving someone from a fire, leading a nonviolent revolution, or striving to prosper, you have to have guts to accomplish your goal. Everyone has a hero, but not everyone has it in him or her to be a
A hero is not always defined by their actions but how they affect in the face of peril. They are taught to lead over people and be an exemplary example. A hero doesn’t know fear from selflessness and will put another person’s life ahead of their own.
In our society today many see a hero as what they wanna see it as, they see a hero as one set definition, but in reality a hero is whatever you view it as personally. A lot of it has to do with personal beliefs adm traits. As kids we all were shown and taught about who our heroes are in society. Everyone grew up thinking the heros in our society are the ones they told us were, but as we grew up we then realized who our heroes were and sometimes it wasn’t who they told us it was supposed to be.
Did you know that there are not just bad and evil people in this world, we actually have hero’s that are kind and nice people. In most cases a hero is always the one to save the day. “The world can only change from within – Eckhart Tolle.” The world can be changed if people in this world a willing to make the world a better replaced. Society always want a role model, somebody to admire and be example, heroes often included in that category, they are the hope for the better future. Heroes are sought after in stories because they are what the audience looks for in their actual lives. Everyone wants to be a hero in some way. Perhaps not for recognition or glory, but for the knowledge that they have done good in their lives and helped others. Even for those who prefer following the villain through the plot, the role of the hero is needed to counteract the sense of evil that the traditional villain provides. Regardless of the outcome of the story, both good and evil sides must be present to create a conflict. The audience will always look for the lesser (or greater) of the two evils to establish where they stand and better relate to the story.
There are people in this world born with instincts unlike those of the average person. A person who does not hesitate running into a burning building or even a combat zone regardless of what might happen. These rare people share an uncommon trait. It happens to be the same traits that heroes posses. Everyday heroes are not people who stand out in a crowd; they are people willing to give their lives in exchange for the greater good of another person. Heroes help protect our community on a day to day basis, however the term “hero” has recently started to lose its real meaning.
A hero is a good person at heart. They may not always do or say the right thing, but they try. A hero is not always the smartest or strongest person. But that doesn’t faze them. They don’t try to live up to other people's expectations. They know that they mean something and if other people don’t see that it’s too bad. If you look up the word hero you get this exceedingly large list of expectations on how a hero should be. That list forgot to mention that a hero may be an average person who lives just like you and me. That list makes it sound like only people who get awards or recognized can be heros, and that’s not true.
