We should always be in a state of love. Being in the state of love is the feeling of caring, kindness, acceptance and doing good deeds. Not the obligation, entitlement, judgment or an expectation for a return for our deeds. What I mean by "an expectation for return for our deeds" is, you do a good deed, out of the goodness of your heart. Helping makes you feel good to see others feel good. Not doing a good deed to get anything back as a return on your investment of love.
What does the worldly love actually mean? What does the religious love actually mean? Love has so many meaning for so many people and reasons. The way that you love your children, parents, friends, significant other and you vary. Each receives a different type of love, from maternal/fraternal to intimate. Let’s identify the worldly definition of love; an intense feeling of deep affection.
The way that you love your children, parents, friends, significant other and yourself vary. Each receives a different type of love, from maternal/fraternal to intimate. The religious meaning of love means; love is the holy breath embodied by human spirit to see light and truth, love is patients, kindness, hope, faith, trust, preservation and the path to enlightenment. Which is what we feel for all the above mentioned, or so we should. So then why do we see it or use it in so many different ways? Why does it freak us out, make us feel responsible for others, guilty, hurt, sad, analytical or crazy? Why do we muddy it
Interpreting love differently is what makes the world go round. If everyone interpreted love the same way, there would not be a special person for everyone, but numerous individuals for a single person. People would not be unique and different in their own ways. Love is what forms people into who they are. Because of the many different kinds of loves and the different ways people view it, is why love can be divine or demonic. It overpowers the soul and the mind. It can be good and it can be bad.
Have you ever felt the feeling of butterflies in your stomach or heard the phrase “my heart skipped a beat for you”? As children, we grew up learning from our elders and experiencing new beginnings in life. Much of our knowledge has been brought upon by what we see and hear, rather of what we know. Many important decisions we make in our life has to do with what our feelings show us. Love is an important matter in our life because it motivates us in different ways. Love can be shown through emotions or even through actions. What is a valuable definition of love? A brief definition of love can be said to be a variety of different feelings or attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure. In other words, to me love is when
How does one define the word “love”, and what exactly is it? Is it merely a fleeting feeling, or is it something more spiritual in nature? Perhaps it has several different meanings, depending on one’s own personal perception and experiences. My own perception is that “love” in itself is an essence that almost all life on Earth harbors, and it is also something that all life has the capability of expressing. Although, the above statement may be too much of an optimistic statement, for the reason that there are individuals in this world who seem completely devoid of love, empathy, and compassion. Completely devoid of what makes a human – human. Despite this very fact, and despite the many harsh cruelties of humanity and society; goodness, love, and light will always prevail and cast out any darkness, violence, and hate. This leads me to believe that love is a pivotal element for the good in humanity, and that “love” in itself is more than meets the eye.
What truly defines the meaning of love? Whether it is two people who show affection for each other, or the bond of a father and son, love is able to mean many things. After all, love may vary for those of different religions or practices, and may be expressed in many ways. Religion and beliefs also change throughout the decades, causing different outlooks on love. Speech is a highly important part of love and religion, and certain qualities can either create an aggressive-energetic speech, or a dull lecture.
Love is a key ingredient of a moral life.Choices based on love of self and others are to be encourage and labeled good.Love promotes acceptable and a peaceful relationship between individuals, as well as groups and nations.
This I believe, the understanding of the word “Love”. There are twenty-eight definitions for the word love. It’s used with nouns, adverbs with an object, adverbs without an object and idioms. There is only one true definition I believe in. Love is a variety of different feelings, states and attitudes. Love is a deep emotional thing people feel for someone else, but don’t know the true meaning of it. Love can be hurt, pain, and suffer, joy, happy, anger. It’s all other emotions joined into one.
What is Love? Love can take many different forms or degrees, and have completely different meanings depending on the individual. Because of this, love is often viewed as being impossible to describe and express in just words. According to psychologists, love is often viewed as an involuntary emotion in which a person seeks for a strong emotional union with another person. For me, love is being with people who let me be myself and who I enjoy spending my time with. Love for me can be hanging out with friends, or spending time with family. But, even with these parameters, I still love some individuals and experiences more than others. Trying to type what love means to me is far easier said than done. Because it’s such a deep, complicated
Love is a word that is used in many ways, and also taught in different ways. Yet according to the Bible, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily
Love has many different meanings to different people. For a child, love is what he or she feels for his mommy and daddy. To teenage boy, love is what he should feel for his girlfriend of the moment, only because she says she loves him. But as we get older and "wiser," love becomes more and more confusing. Along with poets and philosophers, people have been trying to answer that age-old question for centuries: What is love?
Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and difficult to understand. Love is what great writers write about, great singers sing about, and great philosophers ponder. Love is a powerful emotion, for which there is no wrong definition, for it suits each and every person differently. Whether love is between family, friends, or lovers, it is an overwhelming emotion that can be experienced in many different ways.
Why is love so important in a person’s life? In society, love is such a vital aspect which most center their lives around. For many it is what creates meaning in their daily lives and what makes us continue to chose to live. People move across the country for love, do outrageous acts that declare their love, and spend their lives dedicating time, energy, and commitment to those they chose to love. “Love is what makes the world go round” because it is such a strong feeling of attachment we feel for our partners, children, and friends. As humans we have strong emotional needs and many make the mistake of ignoring when these needs are not being met.
Love is a powerful feeling; it makes you do crazy thing. Many people spend years trying to find it, others give up thinking they’ll never find it. Love has been defined as an intensive feeling of a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. Of course, Love doesn 't have to romantic and/or sexual. People who are ace, as in asexual, aromantic and agender, can still be in relationships that are satisfying for them without the needs of a romantic relationship. Familial love is also non-romantic-sexual. However, in this paper, we will be talking about romantic-sexual love, what it is, and why I believe it’s so important to understand and experience.
Maybe you were wondering from the previous chapters, when did I have my first positive female interaction after all the drama I’ve experienced with the cheap love note ploys and being out of the mix when it came to dressing like others. This chapter will expound on the notion that I tried looking out of state for love and let’s see where it takes us.
It seems to be without question that love is at the core of what every human desires. We seek it from the start of life, before we even know the word or emotion, in the bond of parent and child. We look for it in friendships and family relationships as we grow throughout childhood. When mature, we long for the companionship that a lifelong vow of love and marriage will satisfy. The Bible mentions love hundreds of times and places it high above almost anything else, naming it as the center of our salvation in Christ and our hope of life eternal with Him. It’s almost too simple of a concept that love matters, but as Sue Gerhardt shares throughout her book Why Love Matters: How Affection Shapes a Baby’s Brain, somehow we lose sight of just how important love really is, and the fallout from this neglect can change a person’s life completely.
When asked the question “What is Love?” what are some of the first things that come to mind? Some people might say it is an emotion that we experience when we interact with the world around us. People can have love for many things such as money and other material possessions, family and friends, even the world around them. These are just a few examples of how we often use love in our lives. However, love is not only confined to our lives, it is also a very important emotion in religions as well.
