Dan Heath, a speaker of the video, explains how to create a successful mission statement. He states that nowadays people prefer simplicity. For example, it is useful to replace some pompous or rude words with the simpler ones like present instead of serve or the word “damn” that should be undoubtedly censored. Likewise, the mission statement should not be too limited, for instance, Italian food instead of pizza should be offered to customers (FastCompany, 2010). More to the point, the food parlor might offer family entertainment that is associated with the integrity. In other words, it is essential to make words sound more concrete and precisely answer the question of why it is necessary to use that particular product (Hitt, Ireland, & Hoskisson, 2015). It is of paramount importance for the mission statement to reflect the fact that the company cares for the customers. What Does It Take to Create a Strong USP? Cupman (2015) notes the traits of a compelling unique selling proposition (USP). The author states that USP is what distinguishes the business from other B-to-B businesses in the corresponding area. First, the company should identify the target audience using the segmentation of the market. In addition to the segmentation according to the location or age of the audience, it is important to pay attention to details such as customers’ expectations. The key purchasing drivers are the next to be determined as they would promote the creation of the product value. The
I have two mission statements for my life they are “God will not put anything on you that you cannot bare and always remain humble”. The first statement has been my words of wisdom since I was a child. I was always thought that no matter how hard life got do not give up because the problems and the pain will not last forever. I use this statement a lot when I am at work, especially if I’m having a difficult day where it seem like everything is going wrong and it seem like there is no solution. I use to work at a dialysis center after talking and seeing how dialysis was taking effect on their everyday life give me a new perceptive on how much we as healthy people

Not to mention, I have worked with a lot of nonprofit organizations and I noticed that the people there are extremely loyal to their mission. People would give up their free time to volunteer at the organization and strive to help others out by using different resources to reach the goals of the mission statement. In addition, most mission statements are focus on the change of our society and it encourage the organization to keep making improvement.

Mission statements and core values. Both terms that one would find written on a placard upon entering most healthcare facilities. These placards address what the healthcare facility “believes” to be at the heart of what they do. Human dignity, respect for all persons, quality care at an affordable price, good stewardship of resources are keywords often used to describe these statements and values. Increased patient to nurse ratios are in direct opposition to what one would think of in terms of good stewardship of resources, not to mention the degradation of quality care. As nurses leave the profession a void is left that is becoming harder to fill which leads to shortages. Nursing shortages can be directly attributed to inappropriate nurse patient ratios.
