Effective communication skills in a business environment are vital to success in the workplace. Communication is extended through verbal and nonverbal qualities, both equally as important to becoming a successful communicator. Verbally, one needs to employ proper speaking, listen actively, and communicate efficiently, and nonverbally display appropriate posture, a proper handshake, and controlled facial expressions.

I chose to use this design for my website because it isn’t too complex to make using only html, but it also isn’t too easy as well plus as I’m going to create a CSS document linking to all my webpages to make improvements there

The data told me what I predicted with Aiden and Torrance. However William G.’s data I was shocked by and confused to to why his attention span was so short.. I feel that all three of the students need remediation because they are not all perfect with alphabet knowledge, sounds awareness and letter sound knowledge. Although each student made the benchmark score teachers should strive to help their students to go above and beyond not just the average benchmark score.

How does technology really affect how alone we feel? Technology includes all keys to ensure we are occupied and never lonely. “Technology has provided us with even more creative ways to occupy our time” (L. DeLeo). These are continuous occupiers, such as; apps, articles, news, etc. Which help people all around the world to keep in touch with everyone and everything. Technology is good for us, as it entertains us in endless ways, provides communication towards peers/relationships over long distances, and allows for easy access to face to face communication.

Good communication is important/needed in the job that they do as good communication skills help to reduce the barriers because of language and cultural differences. Effective communication allows more work to be done and errors to decrease.

What is important and why do students go to school? I believe students that attend a school or institution gain education. Education is important and is a process of gaining information about the surrounding world. It allows us to build opinions from the facts that we are taught and interpret things that it is being used in everyday life. An important factor that has a huge impact on establishing education is communication. Over the years, Communication has evolved and changed which allowed there to be many different communication models. The Shannon-Weaver, The Berlo, and The Integrated Communication models are just a few models that help display how we communicate today.

Communication is the process of sharing our perceptions of the world with other people, using both verbal and nonverbal messages to convey our meaning (Beebe, Beebe & Redmond 2014). Its encompasses all aspects of human interaction, sending coded messages to others, whether we intend to or not (Beebe, Beebe & Redmond 2014; Southern Cross University [SCU] 2017). Relationships are developed and maintained through these interactions, which occupy 80 to 90 percent of our waking hours (Beebe, Beebe & Redmond 2014). Furthermore, we use these skills in all areas of our lives, from talking to friends and family, to workplace interactions (Beebe, Beebe & Redmond 2014). This communication can be considered effective when the intended message sent parallels that of the message received (SCU 2017). Consequently, reflection can help improve the effectiveness of communication, enabling people to focus on others, instead of just themselves (SCU 2017). Moreover, professionals can improve their competence in this way, by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of their communications and applying new knowledge to the issue (SCU 2017). That is why I am reflecting on a communication difficulty between me and a service user.

Communication mediums varied depending on the situation. In law enforcement, choosing the right medium source for the message can save lives and protect sensitive information. In contrast, an improper medium distribution may cause confusion, implicate unwanted messages, and compromise public safety. Accordingly, when selecting communication mediums, the audience should be identified before a message is crafted and disseminated. Moreover, having someone with a working knowledge of the spectrum of communication methods and proficient at public speaking can be beneficial for a public safety agency (Patrick, 2017). In communication, choosing the correct method and medium will depend on the types of messaging and whether it is directed at the public, for internal information exchange, or to be communicated with other agencies.

Recently, I was asked to write about a time when I failed to effectively communicate. I have failed to do so in many situations when I was younger, but those times are nothing compared to my worst miscommunication ever! In this case, I failed to effectively communicate with my parents. As a result, I was in deep trouble.
