When students go from junior high to a high school, they will see and witness new things that the school will provide throughout the four years. New clubs, activities, things that they will never forget for next couple years. If you're really wanting to have a good time at school, you can be a part of a sport instead of being in P.E. in the first two years of high school. There are many sport that students could join like, but there is one that people are really worried about young students could be harmed. Football is a sport that has a lot of contact and, as seen on T.V., people have been sent to the hospital for serious head injuries, some might even reach the point of dying. Many schools have themselves, should young student be played in high school? Well, some might say it is not safe, but I think student should have the opportunity to make the football team. Young teens have many perspectives than other teenagers, no one is the same. Many teens would want to join football and there are those who would not like to even jog or would go outside. It would be a good way for those who want to get a daily exercise and lose some calories, these young athletes would feel good about themselves to know they are in a sport and they get some exercise into their bodies. Some young teenagers would not want to even go for walk, a nice, easy jog, or even want to sweat at all. There have been cases that teens would be diabetic for not getting enough motion into their muscles
Some people think that high school football should be banned however, this should not happen for many reasons. Doctors and school boards are debating on if high school football should be banned due to the heath risk. High School sports are a big part in the high school experience. Many kids participate in high school sports each year. Some kids do many more sports than others and kids get injured during them. Playing a sport in high school is difficult because you have to worry about school work and family & friends. Also, many people do not make some of the sports team they will try out for and be embarrassed of themselves. Schools should not continue to fund sports because of school work, injuries, and embarrassment.
My first reason of why i think that football is a dangerous sport is because there has been researchers who have discovered that it has some serious injuries. The Injury Research and the Columbus Children’s Hospital did a research to compare the injuries that adults and teenagerss get. In the year of 2007, they made a research and about 4 out of 1,000 students got injured during high school and about 8 out of 1,000 college students were exposed with a injury. But the linebackers and the running backs were also at risk to get a serious injury. Youth sports have been a part of many kids’ lives for as long as the sports have existed. Youth sports keep kids active and helps them get out of the house. Youth sports help kids develop social skills at a young age and they gain a better understanding of the game. As a result, youth sports are important parts in kids’ lives because they help kids develop social skills and they help them get a better understanding of the game, even though there are some safety issues.
I think that kids shouldn't play football because it is too dangerous. People get concussions every day when they play football. After repeatedly bashing their skulls football players get concussions, caused by the spongy tissue in the brain hitting the hard skull. It is very painful to get a concussion, and leaves permanent damage to the brain. As well as being excruciatingly painful, and possibly never being the same, with many issues. Another study shown that students are three times more likely to suffer from any type of injury than any other major sport. High school football is too dangerous of a sport for teenagers who are still growing mentally and physically. Football has and will continue being a very lethal sport for high school students. Not only is high school football lethal, but it takes away from time in the classroom, which means time away from learning. When reviewing the details of football and what it does to students on the field or in the classroom, you will never get a good outcome.
