His approach to globalization is what appears to be perception based, outside of what his family beliefs are. Foer perceives globalization culture as, observed through sports, specifically soccer, family influence, and other means to preserve globalization change as Americans. The effects of globalization in society can be seen every day, but because we are so used to them we sometimes forget that they are happening. Changes in globalization can be very small or very big usually depending on where you live in the world. But no matter how small or how large these changes are affecting the way our world works and grows every day. Globalization affects our daily lives in almost an infinite amount of ways, but mainly in three main areas. The areas with the most effect on globalization are political practices, economical aspects, and socio-cultural traits all of which add up to give countries international status based specifically on how we function as an ever-growing human race.

Globalization has impacted nearly every aspect of modern society. “While some U.S citizens may not be able to locate Beijing, China on a map, they certainly purchase an over whelming number of goods that were manufactured there.” (Keuper). Many professionals say there are a few drawbacks of globalization but in the end it is a benefit for global economy. It appears as though there may be one country to blame for a large amount of the development of globalization that we will discuss along with the benefits and detriments, as well as the general impact of globalization on our society.

Globalization, for it or against it, this is a topic you cannot escape. The influences of globalization are impacting every country around the world. Fred Hu and Michael Spence wrote "Why Globalization Stalled: And How to Restart It" published in the July/August 2017 issue of Foreign Affairs. They argue that globalization is a necessary evil that needs to be addressed on many levels to create a sustainable global order that meets the needs multilaterally. They make a successful case as to why we would be better off reforming globalization by touching on the issue many countries are struggling with, which is increasing trade growth while balancing wage inequality and trying to find a balance of protectionism and nationalism. Some people think if we ceased globalization in the United States it would increase our national equality, however, that could not be farthest from what we need. To preserve our spot as number one we need to work on issues here in the United States because foreign trade policies are not progressing with advances in technology, there are inequalities that are creating a sizable gap in our economy, and politicians are focusing on nationalism and protectionism to boost their own agenda's rather than address the real issues.

Globalization is the proximate and multidimensional set of political, economic, social, and technological integration around the globe. The increasing interconnectedness among countries can be seen through the prism of globalization. Essentially, the lives of people living in distant cities like Bangalore and Silicon Valley are brought closer as a result of this phenomenon. Drivers of this adjacent include; the expansion of trade, technological exchange, labor movement and investments (Stearns 2017). The discourse of globalization encompasses several multidisciplinary themes. The paper, however, concentrates on the economic factors, “which, entails the closer economic integration of countries of the world through increased flow of goods, services, capital and even labor.” (Stiglitz 2007: 4). The paper focuses on economic globalization and elucidates whether the globalization has reduced poverty and inequality or had reproduced the reversed implications. Meanwhile, the paper reveals if the developing world has benefited from the set. This seems to be the central question that policymakers, development economists, and politicians have been grappling with for years. The paper is presented in three parts. Part one reflects on the historical context of the problem statement. The second part compiles literature and juxtaposes with cases to corroborate the globalization-poverty-inequality triangle. Globalization has been in a toss-up on the valuableness of its control and how it benefits the world. Many views have come up due to the advancement of the world collectively, some believe it has only benefited society has a whole while others say it has brought only destruction to the social and cultural aspects. Two professors at highly ranked universities discuss their views on Globalization and how it has influenced the world. Globalization has greatly impacted the world through its social relations through culture. Amartya Sen at Harvard University expresses his views on Globalization through the spread of intellectual ideas and how it takes one great idea to spread across the globe.

A business needs marketing strategies in order to reach their products to a global standard. Due to the new age of social media and globalisation consumer want products and services with speed and quality. Fortunately business such as McDonalds, Nike, Coca Cola, Apple and numerous others have amassed great success using marketing strategies to incite consumer from all around the world. Therefore global businesses have used marketing strategies such as branding/ packaging, advertising and pricing strategies to create a global multi billion empire.

How can we keep our community identity intact when globalization redefines our history and democracy? As community members and citizens of the world we should understand how globalization is effecting our cityspace and realize vital components of a prosperous city are diversity, neighborhoods, and local governance. To understand these issues we will break down the economics and sustainability of globalization and further define these vital components.

As different states continue to try and emerge as powerful global leaders there is one argument that still seems to always be questioned. The question of globalization and whether every state should implement it within the international community. The growth of international flow of money, ideas, and culture help increase the interaction between people, states, and countries demonstrating full globalization. However, globalization is not only an economic issue but a cultural issue as well. To be a globalizing international community global leadership must go beyond prioritizing only one’s interest. Globalization has both benefits and drawbacks to being fully implemented in the international community. There are many states and actors within states that would benefit from a common economic goal, however there will always be some actors and states that would suffer from a common goal. In the global community right now there are many states that would be antiglobalization for many different reasons. Some include high tariffs, human security, and trade wars. However, globalization is worth defending and extending when every state is forced to have a common economic process of integration that has both social, economical, and cultural aspects. Their are many different states that take a different approach to globalization and antiglobalization. Globalization is important to understand in order to determine what worked in the past and can be successful again in the future. Our many cultures, ideals and growing technology form together to create an extremely global world. We use products that were made on the other side of the world, and are taxed on practically everything. Whether the effects of our global society is good or bad, there’s no doubt that the world is constantly changing and impacting our livelihoods, so we must adapt accordingly in order to succeed.

Globalization seems to be highlighted only in its best or its worst times, the world’s teleological swing from connection to division. Yet we seem to be blind to the inclines and down falls. We recognize innovation once it is complete, not while it is evolving, or we mourn over devastation when the signs it was coming were there all along. As our society cycles through these peaks and valleys we need to remember that ancient globalized societies rose and fell many times over. Although or world changes and so does our definition of globalization we are still able to show parallels of modern globalization in historical times.

The continuing growth and advancement of globalization has increased the frequency and ways in which countries are able to interact on economic, political, social, and cultural scales. Trade between countries, which has been a key aspect of globalization from its beginning, works as a way to fuel the economies of the countries involved as well as strengthen and/or harbor the political relations between them. In this time of globalization, businesses more than ever must apply this rule. Now, boundaries are eliminated between countries and new opportunities are born. Globalization should be defended and extended. Globalization allows for the free movement of people (e.g. migration and remittances), fosters economic prosperity and growth (e.g. flow of capital and trade), and helps bring structure to international politics and support to states (e.g. United Nations and the World Trade Organization). I will argue that while the defense and expansion of globalization benefits the entire global community, the more powerful states will benefit the most. The organization of the argument is as follows. First, I will discuss the positive impacts of migration, especially in regards to remittances. Next, I will analyze the effects of the global political economy on global wealth, trade, and the flow of capital.
