Why is so difficult to pass gun laws in U.S.? With the increase in mass shootings that we have witnessed in the past decade, many have wondered why the U.S. has been unable to pass more strict gun control laws. There are several factors that might be involved in effectively implementing gun control in the United Staes. One important argument at the center of the discussion is the second amendment. Many people feel that the second amendment provides them with the constitutional right to bear arms. Others feel that implementing some regulations to the sales of firearms in the U.S is a necessary step in order to curb the gun violence that has been plaguing the nation.
