Locus of Control determines how well someone does on life and successful in life. How someone achieves their goals and how their grades are, how much someone studies. The two types of locus of control are external and internal. If you have a more internal locus of control you are most likely to be more successful than people with an external locus of control are. IF someone with an external locus of control gets bad grades with D’s and F’s and if someone with an internal locus of control gets great grades with A’s and B’s. The person with A’s and B’s are more likely to advance to the next grade than the person with D’s and F’s are. Using a planner or agenda will help you know what is going on and what is due for class. Sleep don’t ever underestimate the importance of getting at least 8 hours of sleep, staying up late studying does not help. Set a schedule that fits you most even if you just home from school and you do your homework or you grab a snack and then you do your homework that will help you get it done. Taking notes will help know what to do for school, work, or maybe as simple as your chores, just as long as you take notes you will be more successful. Study that will help you pass all of your quizzes or tests if you study for at least an hour every day your will feel more successful of that. Manage you study space by uncluttering you mess that you may have on your desk or your bed will also make your more successful. Find a study group that will be more than welcome to help you study and be ready for your quiz the next day or maybe a test that is coming up. I’ve noticed a difference between me and my friend Iago, during that one class a few weeks ago where we talked about the locus of control me and Iago compared our scores. I was rather surprised to find us being almost at complete opposite ends! I personally appear to have an external locus of control meaning I think external forces are to blame. On the other hand Iago has an internal locus of control meaning he thinks he is in control of situations rather than external forces being the cause.
Which translate into when it comes to problem solving it’s a hit-and-miss with me.
