In the past decade technological improvements have progressed and expanded throughout our world. Such advancements have led to the creation of a new realm, one in which anyone and everyone can connect to and communicate at a faster speed than ever before. With the creation of the internet came an alternative method in which we are able to get information faster, and social media, where we are able to communicate easier with those who are far from us. Despite these new means of communication, there is a downfall to such innovation. As online communications increase, human interaction deteriorates as we become vastly dependant on the internet, to the extent where we cannot function properly without it.
Every day someone is looking for means to improve the speed of the internet. Regardless of how fast it already is, it’s never fast enough, people always want more. Human life has become overly dependant on the internet to the extremities in which they need it to accomplish small tasks such as obtaining information for a report or simply searching up a word. With a tap on the keyboards we are able to search through various websites and compare our findings with others. Every click away, every second spent on relying on the internet is one second of our life sucked away by the social realms.
