The responsibility and the care of a child are often decisions people face when they find out about the announcement of the pregnancy. Fear of growing up fast and the responsibility of a child are often not something people can handle. For millions of men and women across the country, they turn to Planned Parenthood who not only deals with pregnancy but also is resource in birth control, informative about sexual health but STD testing, screenings (“Sexual Health Topic”). April 14th of 2017, President Trump has signed a law targeting to defund Planned parenthood ( Davis, Julie Hirschfeld). Repeated patients often get the best way of setting up payment or a special service to thank the loyalty of the patient. Planned Parenthood and Private clinics both provide health services, however, Planned Parenthood has a more focus on reproductive health care. This includes “ birth control, abortion and emergency contraception support, men’s health care services, pregnancy testing services and support, STD Testing, treatment and prevention (“Sexual Health Topic”). Not only is the organization providing specific aid to a broad demographic, but is also the nation’s largest provider for sex education.
Planned Parenthood is the “nation’s largest provider of sex education. Providing sex education that's evidence-based and delivered by trained professionals is extremely effective and widely supported (“What is Sex Education?”).” Getting rid of the nation's largest educator limits people resources to ask questions that may not have been taught. The clinic is always open along with online resources to provide answers.“Although almost every state has some guidance on how and when sex education should be taught, decisions are often left up to individual school districts and state/local legislators (State of Sex Education in USA.”).” This leaves the school the option to not provide teaching of certain materials that can be beneficial.
