Julia’s complete acceptance of what the Party says is due to her own laziness and lack of interest concerning anything about the Party. She doesn’t believe there should be any protest to the Party because it is all a lie anyways, and it shouldn’t matter. That is where she is incredibly wrong, and just as much lazy. It is easy to agree, to just accept anything that is told to you without any thought or consideration, and it is difficult to challenge an opposing idea. The only way a person can protest is if they know how to create their own idea, and, personally speaking, she is lazy. Others are unaware, and it’s the Party’s actions that make other unaware; however, Julia has the ability and knowledge to be aware of the lies that the Party control,
In 1892 in St Louis, Missouri The People’s Party, or more commonly known the Populist Party was formed. The main purpose of the Populist party was to represent the labor leaders, farmers, and reformers, which focused on bank regulation, graduated income tax, and government owned railroad. Bank regulation was enforced to limit things such as restrictions and requirements, which led to better money regulation with the formation of the party. With graduated income tax, there would not be as big of a difference between the rich and the poor. Because of this the poor would not be paying as much income tax as the rich, which would eventually equal things out. Among many other things, one main goal of the populist party was to form an alliance with
Julia simply does not care about what the Party is saying to the public. She doesn’t know whether or not it’s true or false, and can’t even remember what is said half the time. For example, Winston asks to recall 4 years ago, when Oceania was fighting with Eastasia, not Eurasia, despite Party insistence that it had always been the other way around. At first, Julia tells Winston that she never paid much attention to Party propaganda, because she didn’t care who was fighting the war. It is only after several minutes of arguing with Winston that Julia can actually remember the difference. Since Julia is so far removed from a cause to rebel, she has no desire to.
the only one going against the party’s ideal beliefs, his lover Julia is also against the party. The
Thomas Jefferson would most certainly reinforce the action of protest now in the modern day. To begin with, Thomas Jefferson would encourage protesting because of what is written in the Declaration of Independence, which he signed and wrote. For instance, this significant document states, “any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.” Jefferson would assist these protests because he considers that people should speak up if they don’t agree to it. The people of the states should fix a problem that would do harm to their state or country. Jefferson’s statement is that all people should speak their mind and that is why he would help out the protests. His
Violently protesting the presidential election does bring notice to the protesters, but not at all in a positive way. Politicly speaking, there are many effective ways of sharing opinions and spreading your ideas peacefully. Citizens that choose to violently protest are not taken seriously and because instead of making changes they are breaking laws and causing serious problems in major cities across the country. Protesters need to understand how our government functions on a local, state, and federal level. The president doesn't hold some kind of crown in our country. If our president elect for this following January is as bad as protesters claim, he will be removed from office immediately so they have nothing to worry about. Protesting in these current ways make these individuals appear uneducated and negatively radical to the eyes of the public.
In the recent events of Donald Trump's campaign, there have been riots that occur at each destination. With such riots, this causes the competition to be heavily monitored as the attacks may escalate very quickly. The Democrats however, do not see such riots and are enjoying the peaceful protests that occur outside, as opposed to a spread of violence among all people behind the doors of the debates. Trump, is one that does not care about what is said. This is the president the country desperately needs in office, because there are talks of a large border that Mexico will happily pay for.
The United States is approaching an era where the citizens are expressing their displeasures on political issues and how they feel about a particular politician. Nonetheless, we are experiencing an evolution of protest, where protesters seem to oblivious to or simply don’t care about positive effective protesting. Conversely, protest organizer who normally leads the protest usually have a plan, such as the right time for the protest, proper location, and making sure the message of the protest is not being distorted.

Is there not a better way to protest America's problems without protesting America? Given that the First Amendment allows us to protest our grievances we should be allowed to take a knee during the national anthem if we feel it’s necessary. The again, there are other ways to protest our country’s problems without protesting the United States, so people with a higher status should not take advantage of the status to protest.
If you look back through history you'll see that a lot of times cultural change was brought about with war and fighting. When the colonials pushed for independence from Great Britain, they waged war. War was previously seen as the only way to get what you want. It seemed to be the only way of getting things done. Now a days we're finding that method isn't that helpful and rather ruins a lot of things.
"Even voting for the right is doing nothing for it. It is only expressing to men feebly your desire that it should prevail. A wise man will not leave the right to the mercy of chance, nor wish it to prevail through the power of the majority."
Zetkins is a remarkable figure in history. The summary of Zetkin political accomplishments is impressive. Zetkin was able to apply an effective effect on the formation of the socialist party on the women’s question and additionally to shape the mentalities of working class women in Germany and abroad toward the socialist development.
in order to maintain the peace and unity. But in Turkey, citizens’ rights were violated
. Political parties offer political programs and participate in elections in order to gain access to political science and to implement them. Social movements seize new demands that remain unanswered by institutional actors and articulate them in the non-electoral channels of the public sphere. Together with interest groups which we do not address in the present essay, both parties and movements constitute the sand of citizens’
