Resources Needed for Transformation With the current issues the company is facing, it is important to ensure all parties of RFC are pulling their weight in the HR transformation. RFC may not have enough people to help the transformation take place and using outside sources such as audit companies, competency survey professionals and staffing analysis resources are not out of the question. RFC is not against spending money as long as the money spent will bring financial return and break even (Sherlock, 2008). Without these people, the transformation cannot begin, which means changes cannot be made. Conclusion Although Reyes Fitness Center may be dealing with some of the most difficult issues, its HR department and the organization as a whole can still rebuild and move forward in their industry. The aforementioned action plan will help them to determine what issues they are facing and the causes of those issues as well as possible solutions to the problems. Assessing and identifying the cause of decline in memberships, emphasizing employee development and training, total rewards packages, and hiring a new staff as needed to fill vital positions are a few of the ways RFC can implement changes. RFC can benefit from redesigning company policies, as they will be able to stand against the competitive nature of their company, which has maintained the quality of its services to enable it to be in the position to succeed. In addition to that, RFC should recognize that the company couldn’t survive using old policies, so in order to move forward, the company must find positive ways to embrace change and new ways to conduct business. Reyes Fitness Company must assess internal and external environments while improving performance in their field. Since the company’s services and processes demonstrate its position within the industry, they must respond to the company’s internal and external issues by increasing the company’s strengths, embracing the existing opportunities, reducing its weaknesses and eliminating its threats.
