As we go through the 21st century, technology in the classroom is becoming more predominant. Devices provided by the school such as tablets, ipads, computers, and calculators have had a major impact in today's educational system. Not only do these devices help students with everyday school assignments, but applications such as google classroom, which are on the devices provided by the school, help students organize their work. Technology in the classroom improves engagement, improves knowledge retention, encourages individual learning and encourages collaboration, which is every teacher's dream for his/her students.
In today's, modern society every student has a phone or an electrical device which has access to the internet. In other words, the student world revolves around technology; in addition, a popular method that helps improve engagement within the students is by collaborating technology with assignments. When technology is integrated into lessons, students are expected to be more interested in the subjects they are studying. Technology provides different opportunities to make learning more fun and enjoyable in terms of teaching same things in new ways. For example, websites such as “KAHOOT” and “QUIZZES” are fun games where teachers are able to choose a lesson, then questions about the lesson are displayed on the board and students have to answer with their cellular device or with the devices provided by the school, students compete with their peers to get to
