First of all, she is qualified for the job. Actually, Clinton is better qualified than any other Presidential candidate. She has served as Senator and Secretary of State. Her time as first lady gives her insight into how the White House really works. She is clever, devoted, realistic, and has run for President
Hillary Clinton is the best candidate for the President of the United States because of the goals that she has accomplished in the past, and the goals that she has for the future of the country. In 1969, she got her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College majoring in political science and in 1973 she got her Juris Doctor degree from Yale. After that she helped to pass laws that helped children greatly. Also, she’s been a strong advocate for human rights and women’s rights. In addition, she is a big believer in gun violence prevention and making mental health care accessible to everyone who needs it. She also has experience as First Lady, state senator, and Secretary of State.
The forty minute lengthy speech, the first major speech given since launching her presidential bid, Hillary touted to be a “champion for all Americans” by providing economic policies as a relief for the middle classes such as paid family leave, universal pre-school, and raising the minimum wages. On social issues, Hillary added that Republicans are out of touch with these issues such as gay marriage, and woman reproductive rights.
Hillary Clinton is deserving candidate for the president of the United States. She has the best and unique ideas that will add up to the nation progress. She has great plans to improve the U.S economy. Her ideas regarding education are excellent.
Hillary Clinton has an abundant of experience that gives her the right qualities to be the president of the United States of America. Clinton was the first lady and has already experienced the presidential life. She knows the hard work and perseverance it takes to run our country. Clinton was also was senator of New York from 2001-2009 and the served as Secretary of State of The United States of America from 2009-2013. She was the only first lady in the history of the United States to hold national office.
If I were to ask the question, “Why is voting important in the United States of America?” Majority of people would say, “It gives us hope to a more promising and better future”. In other words, our lives and futures are in the hands of whoever is elected president. That is why it is imperative people vote, it’s the “people” that is choosing the president-someone that will be our leader and will have the ability and power to run our nation.
“Hillary is continuing a lifelong fight to ensure women have access to reproductive health care.” and “Make premiums more affordable and lessen out-of-pocket expenses for consumers purchasing health insurance on the Obamacare exchanges.” (“Affordable health care is a basic human right.”). However, Hillary isn’t only prepared for the issues at hand, but is very active in causes that are of an importance. For example, everyone does deserve to be treaty equally whether they are a woman, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. I agree with Hilary Clinton’s plans on dealing with most of the issues at hand including college cost, cost of healthcare, the obscene amount of money used in politics, and immigration in the United
Hillary Clinton is a very successful woman as she comes from a background with various political experience and education from top schools in the country. Within her lifetime she has been on the United States Secretary of State (2009-2013), a Senator on the United States Senate, (2001-2009) and the First Lady of the United States, President Bill Clinton (1993-2001). In 2016, it was not Hillary’s first time running for President as she did so in 2008 where she became the runner up in the democratic nominees as she fell to Barack Obama. Hillary’s campaign styles
As a citizens in the US, as soon as we turn eighteen we have the right to vote, this means we have a say in who represents us in government and whether certain issues are passed or not. We can vote in both local and national elections ranging from who’s on our school board to whom the president will be. Since this is America, we are free to complain about how the USA is today, but do we do anything to change it? Most of the USA does not actually do anything, in our generation the USA has seen the lowest voter turnout since World War 2. Some people will complain that their vote does not count but in reality it does, the local elections are based solely on the majority of the people, and in national elections the elected representatives of
Voting. What is voting? Voting means to bring awareness, to bring change, to be the part of the movement, and to be a responsible citizen of the country. Voting is a primary right and a duty of every citizen of the nation to being responsible for the change happening all over the nation and the world. Most citizens in any country are middle working-class families; the problem they are facing should solved by any of the president or government such as equal pay, low wages, job security, employment rights and similar problems.
There could be so many reasons why the voter’s turnout is so low. Most of them decline, because they have no public interest for elections. Back before the Constitution was sign African American couldn’t vote, it was called white privileges and women did have the right to vote. So I thing that still plays a part in the African American communities. Then most of them feel that their vote does not matter anyway. American have no motivation to vote like they once did. The voter turnout in the United States is low due to the fact that voters either choose not to vote, they are not a citizenship, or they have been in prison, and or other legal barriers that makes them ineligibility. A large percentage of the individuals are not voting because political
According to Hillary, she once said , “I feel very lucky because of my parents and then my education, the opportunities that I’ve had, so I would like to continue working to improve lives for others.” Referring back to that I consider Hillary would make an exceptional president for the certainty that she has political experience and also an immense amount of respect for us as the people around her whether we are supporters of her or not.
After Donald Trump was elected president, the US citizens thought that their vote did not make a difference. After the Electoral College shut down the opinion of the public and voted out of their own opinion on who should be the leader, made the voters think that they are not living in a democracy. I believe that the voters were even more upset at the fact that the popular vote was leaning completely to one side and and the candidate that was victorious could not compare to the same amount of voters. Some of the voters felt betrayed, upset, furious, and just shocked at the news that Donald Trump will be called “Mr.President”. People all through the United States protested long and hard for the result to be recounted, but it was not successful.
When it comes to voting, every citizen should be given the opportunity to do so. Voting gives everyone the chance to express his or her views on different topics. Although there are millions of individuals in the United States that are eligible to vote, several do not take this opportunity. While many may not take an advantage to vote, some individuals have difficulties in voting due to certain states enforcing voter ID laws. A total of thirty-three states have laws requesting or requiring voters to show some form of identification at the polls. Whereas this may be a requirement, some citizens feel stricter voting laws confuse or intimidate potential voters. In San Antonio Texas, voter laws have been a major concern due to the undocumented
Hillary Clinton’s political career has led to controversy, but she has managed to win many admirers for her staunch support for women around the country and her commitment to children’s issues. She served as the First Lady of the U.S. from 1993 until 2001. In November 7, 2000 she was elected United States Senator from New York. And during the election of 2008, she run for president and was the “leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination”(The White House). However, President Barack Obama won the election and appointed her as the U.S Secretary of the State. She served as the U.S. Secretary of the State from 2009 until 2013 and in 2016 she has decided to run for president again. In the world of politics is where politicians
