The Importance of Accountability and Punctuality Accountability is the obligation of an individual or organization to account for its activities, accept responsibility for them, and to disclose the results in a transparent manner. Punctuality is the habit of doing things exactly in time. So the main reason for this essay is because I did not follow out proper orders and was not at the correct place of duty for PT/Accountability formation at the correct time There is still no excuse for me to miss a formation. So when you take equipment out, the unit is no longer as capable as it was when it had the equipment it was accountable for that why it is always needed to practice good accountability. It’s not only equipment you have to be accountable for. You have to be accountable for your troop. Many people can get in trouble for one mistake.
