One of the most memorable teachers I have ever had is my fourth-grade teacher. Not only is Mrs. Lozano a great teacher but also an influence in my life. When I came to the United States, my motivation for school was not the same. I did not comprehend English and I felt like a stranger at school. However, Mrs. Lozano helped me with these struggles that I faced during my first year. For me, Mrs. Lozano has great qualities and attributes that I will always admire. For example, her engaging personality and teaching style are qualities that identify her. She can engage all her students when a discussion is required and can establish trusting relationships. She can promote positive behaviors that will help her students during their lives. For example,
What I liked about Castro is her visual on academic. She 's the teacher and she is met with students ready to learn. But it 's not the way teachers teach or what the subject they are learning that affects the way a student does in class but how they are treated. A student shouldn 't be ashamed or shunned by either educators or classmates by how much they
“One of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of working with,” Principal Curtiss Tolefree of Washington Middle School confided in me about 6th grade English teacher, Heather Ruha, as I crossed the threshold of her classroom for the very first time.
I became the teachers’ helper. I stayed afterschool twice a week while my brother was at boy scouts and helped Mrs. Clapp grade papers. I spent hours grading papers, photo copying papers for her, and even doing extra homework in her classroom. The memories that I have working with her are some of my favorites. When I think about her, I think about how kind she was to let me help.
There is a quote that I have embraced during my professional journey I like that state, “The influence of a good teacher can never be erased”. As a product of the Muscogee County School district, my life mirrors that statement. If it were not for my awesome teachers I would not be the person and teacher I am today. Growing up poor, I lived in Wilson Apartments and attended Fox Elementary School. It was my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Vignery that ignited my passion to become a teacher. She would always hold my hand and made me feel loved despite my many issues. As a result, I wanted to pass this love to my students. I cannot remember not one single thing that she taught me, but I will never forget how she made me feel. I find myself holding
There are several teachers who have inspired me since I started school many years ago. If i had to decide on the one teacher who has made the greatest impact on my life, it would be Coach Mike Hammons. Coach Hammons teaches middle school World History at Flintville Elementary School. Coach Hammons has inspired me in many ways. When I’m in his classroom, he makes learning fun for me. He loves to be around us students. Finally he’s funny. Coach Hammons is probably an inspiration to not only me, but every student he teaches.
Mrs. Marron has been my Spanish teacher for 8 years now, and I have never doubted her commitment to the school or students. She goes above and beyond to constantly change and adapt to the students in her class. The commitment and sacrifice Mrs. Marron shows to Meeteetse Schools is incredible. Last summer she took a trip to Spain through EF Tours with a few students, myself included. Mrs. Marron allowed us to really experience the language and culture when we had time away from the other school. This is one of the best qualities about Mrs. Marron; she encourages us to try new things and embrace our inevitable failure. I had to order my own food, shop at both clothing and grocery stores, and communicate with various locals on a day to day basis with little help. The only reason I made it through this experience was because of the teacher Mrs. Marron is. She never loses faith in our abilities,
Ms. Castrovinci when asked about how she got her start in education helped me realize how she developed a good rapport with her students while maintaining a high level of accountability. In my observation of Ms. Castrovici, she makes every effort to give her students chances to complete make up work and late work. Her strategies were consistent with her beliefs about herself. She believed that in order to make people feel comfortable you must treat them as the individuals that they are. She mentions “We may be members of different races of people, from different cultures and backgrounds, but we are all people. “ She never lets situations escalate into major problems. She had nothing but high expectations for all of her students. She never relents in her pursuit to make her students see their potential and live up to it. She is a teacher that I would thoroughly enjoy working with again. I feel that learn a great deal from her and would utilize her as a mentor in my future teaching career. Her attitude is always positive and she genuinely cares about her students which I truly admire. In the end, I really enjoyed this field observation, experience Ms. Castrovinci was a great example of a teacher, I will strive to be because at the end of the day your influence can be impactful to these students for many years to
I interviewed this remarkable teacher named, Mrs. Castillo. Mrs. Castillo is a math teacher here at Frank Augustus Miller Middle School. Mrs. Castillo is an immensely captivating person and she has extraordinary ways of teaching. So here is Mrs. Castillo’s revealing of her compulsive life.
I was extremely lucky to have amazing teachers throughout my schooling. However, one teacher that went above and beyond would have to be Mr. Sierra, my advising counselor and teacher in high school. Mr. Sierra possessed many characteristics that made him a great teacher. He always encouraged me to do my best and taught me never to settle for ‘just okay’. His advice has really resonated with me and is something that I have applied to my life in all aspects. A great teacher like Mr. Sierra, is someone who guides, encourages, and during this same process challenges
Lacy and Mrs. Moynihan. They are both at the top of my list for favorite teachers. One would teach on Monday, then the other on Tuesday, etc. but on Wednesday, one would teach in the morning then the other would come in after lunch and teach us. The year was definitely interesting. 4th grade was also the year I met my best friend, Lauren, I will always remember the first time she talked to me, and it wasn’t nice but it wasn’t necessarily mean either.
One class in 6th grade was particularly memorable. It was my english class taught by Mr. Rommel. He really was an awesome teacher. I just remember how, even though we were simply immature preteens, he really talked to us like we were equals. He didn’t talk down to us as if we were less than, rather than yell at us he joked around, and he was altogether a really chill dude. He made learning fun and rewarded us for our “hard work”, which is kind of funny now because hard work then was finishing a
In my whole school career there has only been one teacher who I thought was the best for me and to me, one teacher that I thought that I could always look up to and literally, he is a tall gentlemen. My teacher is Mr. Scott Gems from Warsaw High School of Warsaw, Missouri and he is who I appreciate the most for my school career.
Introduction: When thinking back to elementary school, what most people remember the best, are the teachers they had along the way. Elementary teachers not only introduce their students to the basic concepts of core subjects, they also help pave the path to each student’s future success. While the income may not be the highest available, watching students develop a new skill or grow an appreciation for learning can be very rewarding.
Out of all the teachers I have had throughout school one of them sticks out to me way more than the rest, as far as begging my favorite goes. His name was Mr. Austin, he is an eighth and tenth grade history teacher. When he taught he made the class very fun, interesting and educational. Paulo Freire thought that education should be an interactive and learning experience for both the teacher and the student, and not just the teacher depositing information into the student. Mr. Austin class would definitely receive high marks from Freire.
The teacher that stands out most in my head is my eleventh grade English teacher. She had a liberal arts background, and enjoyed the classic American writers; Hemingway, Steinbeck, what have you. She was in the class of teachers who was more impressed by actions and honesty
