On a weekly basis, we spend 80 hours on the internet. Based on how much we spend on the internet, we should take care of ourselves and not lose our personalities. The internet has changed us in many ways, but it has pros and cons to the users of the internet. The internet helps students, teachers, and doctors and give ways to save money. Typewriters were used 100 years ago because there was no internet, but with internet now we change our culture and society. The invention of the internet was a turning point in history because it resulted in an influence on morality, education, civic engagement, and the economy.
The internet has influence on education and morality by changing the way we think of education and morality. “People are even more leery of the internet’s effect on morality” (Internet Seen as Positive Influence on Education but Negative on Morality in Emerging and Developing Nations). The internet has given us a bad morality by having everything from how to do a criminal activity to how to get away with it. We can learn about drugs and alcohol, where to buy it, and whom to buy it from. Another example, is that we use internet as an easy way out of our daisy life. A survey done by Publishers Association show that we use the internet for news , weather , financial services , retail shopping ,and automobile rather than watch television. From this we can analyze we trust the internet more the television or we do not have time in the world to watch television. There
