Henry Ford once said “When everything seems to be going against you, remember that airplanes take off against the wind, not with it”. Henry Ford was one of America 's foremost industrialist so he would know. He revolutionized assembly line modes of production for the automobile. Everyone if faced with adversity at one time or another. Every person that you have ever met has experienced hardships of their own. Mine just so happens to be my heart. That sounds awfully sentimental but that’s not what I mean at all. I was born with ventricular bigeminy, which is a heart arrhythmia where there’s a continuous alteration of long and short beats. This is usually due to the ectopic heart beats occurring so frequently that there is one after each sinus beat, typically premature ventricular contractions (PVC’s). To add to it, one of the ventricles that are supposed to close when you are born never closed in my heart, making a decent sized hole. Although it was clear in an EKG (an electrodiagram which is used to check for problems with the electrical activity of your heart), they didn’t find anything until I was 16 and went into the emergency room for the first time with dehydration. They kept me for three days trying to figure out what was going on with my heart, and since than, testing to my heart has been a regular thing. At that point, because they didn’t catch it in infancy, my heart beat was my own. I had lived my entire life with heart issues, and what other people…
