The Lumbering Bear
The acrylic painting of Shore Patrol – Brown Bear by Bob Kuhn is the focus of my museum report. Bob Kuhn had painted this for the 1968 Remington calendar and is part of a collection honoring sporting life. The painting is of a brown bear treading weightily upon an overcast shore line. The dominant element of art is texture and emphasis and focal point is the dominant principle of design at work in the painting.
The dominant element of art at use in Shore Patrol – Brown Bear is texture. The way the fur was painted on the bear allows the viewer to visually feel the coarse hide. The sharpness of the bristly fur allows a connection to the animal to alive in the sense of the viewer. While the element of color is used in the
The subject matter of the painting is a portrait that shows the Native American fishermen coming in from a fishing trip. Bierstadt often painted the scenes and cultures

Fair Bear has gone on another adventure, this time in Georgia. He has decided to visit the Ocmulgee National Park and Preserve Initiative. This includes the Indian Mounds, the Bond Swamp Wildlife Refuge, the Ocmulgee River, and historic Muscogee land.
The short story of the Moose and the Sparrow is about a specific character dealing with hate being put on by another character, his name is Cecil. He is particularly a very clever, creative and patient person. To demonstrate his patience he created watch straps and signet rings from copper wire for the other the other workers. His talent to create objects out of straightforward things found laying all over the place was extremely fascinating. Even just the way he planned to take out moose was brilliant and well planned. In a tree Anderson noticed something off about it,there was friction mark and another on the other side of the water, just high enough to trip a person. A trap like that is ingenious in itself especially for a guy who has probably
Bear’s fans starts to get excited every year around this time, but this year is different. Chicago has put together an offense with several threats at every skilled position. The receivers have an excellent opportunity to put together a duo, if not a trio that could easily lead the NFC. The back field is shaping up like it will be a force of its own to be dealt with by opposing defenses. And at quarterback, well, let’s just say Cutler will have no excuses this year.

Glancy uses Pushing the Bear to contextualize concrete history. She frames the reality of the Trail of Tears using fictional accounts from multiple narrators, while also integrating historical lists and documents into her story. Pushing the Bear is unique because it tells a history through so many perspectives. Each is relatively short, and the reader is often thrown without transition from one narrator to the next. This technique creates a unique historiography because of its ability to address historical context of a large group as opposed to an individual. By giving all participants of the Trail of Tears a voice, Glancy tells a more “true” history than one ever could using a single narrator account of history. Glancy includes many bills
Flannery O’Connor’s novel The Violent Bear It Away tells the narrative of Francis Tarwater, a boy kidnapped by his great uncle, Mason, as a baby, to be brainwashed into believing he is destined to become a prophet. He spends fourteen years isolated in Tennessee’s countryside to be taught evils of the world, the rage of God, and to resent his family, especially his atheist uncle, Rayber, his legal guardian. After Mason’s death, he sought Rayber and is exposed to secular and urban lifestyle. Tarwater must learn to adjust from life in the country to the city and learn for himself what is true, while Rayber attempts to make a civil, educated man out of him.
Chris McCandless wanted to go into the wilderness and experience a new environment. He left everything behind; his family, his possessions, and his home. “The Bear,” by Tom Lombardi, is about of a husband and wife. While reading the story you start to understand that Gary, the husband, doesn’t seem to care to much about his wife, Lois. Gary doesn’t seem to even care about Lois. Gary was very unsensitive when it comes to things. In the story, while they are in the woods, Gary tells Lois to pay attention to bears, if she sees a bear, she should not be scared, but don’t be stupid. While Lois went to use the restroom one time, she encountered a bear. However, during this time, she felt that the bear was communicating with her. In the story, Lois talked about the bears puppy-like eyes and that the bear rolled over and showed his belly. In a way, this made Lois trust the bear and not to fear the bear. The bear tells Lois that he has seen Lois and Gary together making love and he
There is a personal interest in this company as they just recently ended their contract with Busch Stadium, which is my place of employment. Build-a-Bear was able to negotiate a year by year agreement and a possible sponsorship with the St. Louis Cardinals, LLC for the future and this is what sparked my interest in the company their financial security.
