He was born and grew up in Braunau am Inn, Austria. When he was a kid he was interested in fine art. But his didn’t approve of it. He wanted his son to be in business. In addition to fine art Hitler showed an early interest in German nationalism. He rejected Austria Hungary. The nationalism would become the motivating force of Hitler’s life. His father died in 1903. His mom allowed him to drop out of school. He moved to Vienna and worked as a casual laborer and a watercolor painter. He tried to get into fine arts school twice and was rejected. He moved into a homeless shelter. He stayed there for a while. But he found a way to work. He applied for the German army. He was accepted in 1914 even though he was still a citizen. He was wounded at the Somme . He was congradulated. He also received rewards. He rose to the rank of lance corporal and was awarded the Iron Cross First Class, an unusually high honor for one of his rank.Then he went to go try for general. And guess what he became a General. Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany , was born at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of April 20, 1889 and he died in 1945 by committing suicide. But he was the leader of the Nazis. Adolf Hiter was one of those people who thinks that he is better than anyone. The holocaust was like a hell on earth.
