1. If I were to open a coffee shop, I would definitely need to consider Porter’s Five Forces in order to make informed decisions. The rivalry section of Porter’s Five Forces would definitely be strong. This is because on almost every corner there is a coffee shop, which means there is lots of competition. The bargaining power of the consumer would also be strong. Since there are so many coffee shops offering a wide variety of prices, a customer could give their business to a coffee shop with lower prices which would be an example of a consumer using their bargaining power.
