The message of salvation through your Bridegroom, Jesus the Messiah, is found in 1John 1:8-9 KJV, "if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." A statement of faith is found in Romans 10:9 KJV, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." But, what do Christians really believe? Christians believe that God created the world, and this is based on the story of creation found in the book of Genesis. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He was sent to Earth for our salvation as seen in John 3:17. Christians believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born to the Virgin Mary according to Matthew 1:18 NASB, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit." Christians believe Jesus suffered for our sin, and was crucified, died, buried, rose again and ascended into heaven, and will return to judge the living and the dead, as seen in 1Corinthians 15:4. Christians believe in the forgiveness of sins by confession and repentance according to Romans 10:9 NASB, "… if you confess with your mouth, Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will
“A rite of passage is a public ceremony that marks, recognizes, celebrates or is believed to actually cause a change in a person and her or his status, usually brought about or related to increasing age” (Peoples, Bailey). Almost every culture has rituals that signal a change in life. Marriage is one of the most common rites of passage in any culture. Weddings and marriage ceremonies are clear transitions from adolescence to adulthood. “Some form of marriage is known to have existed in all human societies. Its traditional function in most of these societies has been to stabilize sexual relations and to unite a man and a woman in order to provide care for the young. In addition, marriage has linked and allowed for economic exchanges between different kin groups and has served as the primary coming of age ritual for women” (Nelson).

The striking Christian concept of marriage theology, in which God is understood as having an allegorical and spiritual marriage with His people, showed both great change and great constancy in the face of the challenges of the Protestant Reformation. Some concepts, such as the importance of unity in conceptualizing mystical marriage, were constant characteristics of marriage theology, although varying in emphasis. Other concepts, such as mystical marriage as sacramental, were distinctly Catholic and rejected by later Protestants. By comparing the ideas of Bernard of Clairvaux and Gertrude of Helfta, monastic theologians preceding the Reformation, with the ideas of Francis Rous and Cotton Mather, Puritan theologians following the Reformation, the impact of early Protestant concerns on marriage theology will be observed.
I'm so excited for you! It's your birthday! Yay! I wanted to surprise you a box of presents to put a big smile on your face and to show my appreciation for you and all you do. You're a terrific friend and a constant source of encouragement-not only to me-but to everyone you know! You bring so much joy to others, and you know how to make people smile and laugh. When you throw a party, you seek to make sure the needs of everyone are met and you'll plan little details to make to make sure everyone's having a good time. From creating your own made up game on New Year's Eve, to making Papa Murphy's pizza and some healthy snacks to go along with it, you put the cherry on top of the cake called hospitality. I've seen you grow so
"Arjun I and Matthews want you to tie knot with Jade as soon as possible, as she has finished her studies and she will be even entering into business world so we both want you to guide her and be with her in all her steps" said Mr. Advith Rana my dad taking a seat in my cabin.
Marriage has always been a convoluted subject to every era of time, especially when wealth is brought into the equation of it. During the Romantic Era, the state of marriage illustrated women’s continued inequality in society. For instance, women lacked legal equality once they entered marriage due to coverture, which is the condition of a woman during her married life, when she is under the law of being the authority of and protection of her husband. This basically entails that once a woman marries, she is property of her husband. In later decades, women would make great strides to gain legal recognition. However, during the late eighteenth century, Romantic feminists voiced more practical concerns rather than that of law (Feldman 280). Before the nation could acknowledge women as equals, husbands must first accept their wives as true partners in marriage. This was considered not only logical, but practical. Feminists located one of the sources of inequality within women’s own behavior and the methods they employed to gain husbands. Women had been taught to use beauty and love to attract husbands, but beauty and love are only temporary states. These states do not establish a solid foundation for a lasting marriage. As illustrated in Jane Austen’s novel Emma, a successful marriage is founded upon the match between two personalities, and not upon looks.
This joint family, like any social organization, must face problems such as acceptable division of work, relationships and specific family roles. These familial relationships are managed on the basis of a secular hierarchical principle. In fact, all Indians owe respect and obedience to the head of the family, who usually is the father or the oldest man of the family community. In The Gift of a Bride: A Tale of Anthropology, Matrimony and Murder by Nanda and Gregg, it is explained that, “females [are] placed under the perpetual guardianship of first their fathers and elder brothers, then their husbands.” (Nanda & Gregg 22) Thus, all the spending decisions, studies and profession, or marriage, are exclusively the responsibility of the father after the possible discussions with the other men of the family. Age and sex are the basic principles of this hierarchical system. The eldest sons enjoy greater unchallenged authority than their cadets. Of course men have more authority than women, but older married women have an important role within the family. In fact, the authority of a woman depends on the rank of her husband inside the group. Traditionally, the wife of the patriarch rules over domestic affairs and has considerable power over the other women in the community, especially her daughters- in-law.
Good morning everyone. I'd like to thank you all for coming today. I know there are many things you could be doing on a nice Sunday morning, including sleeping and yet each of you have found yourself here. For whatever reason, you decided to wake up and come here. Maybe it was for something to occupy your morning, or maybe it was to learn more about god, because we all know that you can never know everything about god. There is always something you can learn. When I was a bit younger I'd wake extra early to wait for the church bus to stop at my house and pick me up. The majority of passengers were kids, in fact it was only every once and a while that an adult would ride my bus. Well I do remember one Sunday, one very early Sunday morning. I got on the bus as usual and sat towards the front, because I enjoyed leading bible songs. We stopped at a house and waited as an older man got on our bus, a man I'd never seen before. He
Approximately 2.2 billion people from countries all over the world have one thing in common: their Christian faith (Chappell 1). However, many of them do not have a full understanding of what they are choosing to believe. Christianity is a religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. The word Christianity* originated around the year 1300 and evolved from old french word “Crestienté. “Christians as a whole¨ is its literal definition (Harper 1). It is common Christian belief that God sent his one and only son, Jesus, to be born of the Virgin Mary and deliver His message to the world. Jesus is considered to be the Messiah, or savior, and was crucified on the cross for people’s sins. He rose again on the third day so those who have sinned could go to heaven.

You’re totally right though I’m not American. I live in Australia. Yes, your right that we should be reaching out to many souls who have not heard the gospel. But it’s a personal decision, whether not they accept christ. Thank you for your side of the story. But here’s mine. An antichrist is a MAN. Here’s going to be like Jesus. Everyone will love him, he’ll do wonders, miracles, send fire from heaven basically a show-off. Then once his 100% infested with Lucifer (Satan). You will see his true colours. The antichrist is already here its just a matter of time when it showcases himself as the messiah or ‘God’.
the only way it can be discontinued is when God takes a life 'if we
Christian Marriage, also called Matrimony is a sacrament in which a man and a woman publicly declare their love and fidelity in front of witnesses, a priest or minister and God. The It is seen by all Christian churches as both a physical and spiritual fulfillment. Christianity emphasises that the sacrament of Holy Matrimony is a lifetime commitment. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate."' —Matthew 19:6.
