In The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet evidence shows Romeo is responsible for the death of himself and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet both knew getting into their relationship, things were going to be difficult knowing that the families are enemies. When they got support from the Nurse and friar they both decided to get married. Sneaking the marriage was going to be difficult enough, but the mistakes of Romeo changed everything. First, Romeo and Juliet's relationship was very dishonest, going through with the marriage. As a result of sneaking the marriage, Romeo made a huge mistake that changed everything, the Montagues and the Capulets were together in the circle and started messing around with their swords ending with a life threatening situation.
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a book of fate and how everyone in the world affects the happenings of this world. The author of this extraordinary book is William Shakespeare. Although Romeo and Juliet killed themselves, there were many people responsible for their deaths. It is arguable that the parents of the two lovers, Friar Laurence, and Romeo and Juliet themselves were the most responsible, some could say that the other main characters like Mercutio, Benvolio, Tybalt, the Nurse, and Paris were involved as well. There were many people responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, although they took their own lives, they were not all to blame.
Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet ends in tragedy, because of some of Romeo and Juliet’s faults. Romeo and Juliet obviously rush into things. They do not listen to the advice of Friar Lawrence and end up paying the ultimate price. They also ignore the obvious factors that prohibit Romeo and Juliet from ever being happy together. Romeo and Juliet are also very immature and are groomed for social disaster. Romeo and Juliet are also not in love, but in lust. The combination of impatience, immaturity, and ignoring other’s advice leads to the tragedy of these two “star-crossed lovers.”
In the tragic play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo met Juliet from an enemy family in a party that he was not supposed to attend, and they quickly fell in love. Of course, this forbidden love brought unfortunate luck, and both Romeo and Juliet died at the end of the play. Who shall be held responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet? This question has been bothering people, and yet to be answered. There are indeed many variables that have affected this, but I think Romeo himself is responsible for his own death and the one of his wife Juliet. Since the beginning of the play, Romeo has been acting foolishly, and he could not behave and calm himself down. If he had behaved well and thought before doing whatever he was going to do, everything could’ve been better.
In the tragedy Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, two impatient and reckless teenagers; Romeo and Juliet fall madly in lust for each other. One thing stands between their love, their families are at war with each other. They hate anyone from the opposing family. In the end both Romeo and Juliet take their own lives. There are many people to blame; Friar Laurence, the Apothecary, Balthasar, Friar John, Juliet’s Parents, and Romeo himself comes to mind but, whose fault is really? Romeo is the reason why Juliet and he died because he was impatient, passionate, and irrational.
In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare there is much debate about who is responsible for Romeo’s death. Romeo and Juliet is a play where two forbidden lovers get married in secret despite their families’ feud. After Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin, kills Mercutio, Romeo’s best friend, Romeo kills Tybalt and is banished from Verona with the promise of death upon return. Lord Capulet plans to force Juliet to marry a man named Paris, but she runs to Friar Lawrence who helps her fake her own death. Romeo finds out but thinks that her death is real and goes to an apothecary, buys poison, and kills himself by Juliet’s side. When Juliet wakes up to find Romeo dead, she stabs herself.
In any tragic story there is somebody who causes the tragedy, but who would guess that in Romeo and Juliet the death of the two lovers could’ve been caused by several characters. Not one person is responsible for the death of the main characters, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet. In my perspective I think Romeo, Juliet, the Capulets, the Montagues, and fate all take the responsibility for the tragic ending of the two lovers.
Some believe Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths but that is not the case. Romeo and Juliet did kill themselves but they killed themselves because someone banished Romeo and someone gave Juliet a potion to fake her death. They are wrong because Friar lawrence gave
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a love story that ends in death. Their deaths could be said to be caused by many but who's really to blame? The two fell in love at first sight, but soon realized that they belong to feuding families. Their last names weren't enough to break the two up. Romeo decided he wanted to be with Juliet the rest of his life and proposed a secret marriage. Friar Lawrence performed the ceremony and they were the happiest couple in Verona. Romeo and Juliet kept their marriage on the down low so problems would not arise. They story soon comes to an end when Romeo is exiled and Juliet starts feeling depressed. The Friar then gives Juliet a potion to “die” and bring Romeo back home. In the end the lovers’ tragic story ends with them both dead. But who to blame?
The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare has long been a topic of controversy regarding who is to blame for the death of the two protagonists. The two lovers themselves, Romeo and Juliet, each have their individual flaws which contribute to the drastic outcome of the story. Romeo is to blame because of his impulsive and arrogant personality. Juliet is to blame because of her excessive belief in fate, and willingness to succumb to her fate. The combination of the two brings misfortune and instigates their demise. The two lovers are to blame for their own deaths, as their individual flaws, when brought together, creates a chain of events that destroys their relationship.
All of the main people that were in the play Romeo and Juliet were some of the people I think responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo is talking about how much he loves Juliet. Juliet and Romeo are trying to say bye to each other before they get caught. “Farewell! I will omit no opportunity that may convey my greetings, love, to thee.” (3.5. 48-50)Romeo. This quote shows that they should have not killed themselves. When Romeo leaves he
Throughout the world there is people who spend their whole life trying to fix another person's problems. And eventually they end up getting themselves into trouble. This is what happens to a character in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. In the play many characters try to fix another problem. But throughout their fixing they make many flaws that ends up creating a huge mistake that ends the lives of two young lovers. And throughout all those characters, Friar Lawrence is the one most at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
The tragedy known as Romeo and Juliet can be seen to be their fault, because they are the ones who ended their lives. The blame should not be put on them but on other characters who pushed them to the end. Romeo and Juliet fell in love very fast, but couldn’t profess their love openly because of their feuding families. At the end of the tragic play they both kill themselves so they can be together for eternity. In the play “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare the Capulets, Friar Laurence, the Nurse, and the Prince can all be blamed for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” ( Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban). This exemplifies the true beauty that even in the most distressing times of anyone's life, there is always light somewhere to restore. Many struggle with things that rests upon them throughout their life and never seem to have a way to cope with whatever the challenge may be. Nevertheless, many should put forth effort to hunt for those concealing glimmers of hope that illuminates anyone's heart. Similarly, within Shakespeare’s “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” two family rivals, the Capulets and Montagues, clearly resemble this quote. However in this case Juliet and Romeo’s relationship
In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, death is a frequent subject. Whether it’s Romeo comparing “light and dark” or Juliet threatening to kill herself, death is always the topic of conversation. At the conclusion of the story, Romeo and Juliet tragically die. This brings up a drastic question: who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Based off of textual evidence, the feuding families are to blame as everything happened because they were fighting in the first place.
I believe Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own death. First of all, when the Capulet’s were hosting a party, Romeo decided to invite himself without an invitation. This caused Romeo to be remembered by Tybalt, a member of the Capulet family. If Romeo didn’t go, he never would have met Juliet, and therefore never would have fallen in love. In my opinion, their relationship was deceitful from the beginning. Also, I believe that they took their relationship too fast. Over the course of a day, Romeo and Juliet met at the Capulet’s party, fell in love, and got married.
