When I was getting bullied, he showed me how to ignore them as if thay weren't there. He taught me how to be independent. In doing so, I saw something new. I experienced something I hadn't seen before.
An influential figure who has greatly affected my life is my pastor. He is Rabbi Robert Devine. Born September 21, 1926, in Port Gibson, Mississippi, he is the oldest of his siblings and now lives in Braxton, Mississippi, at the age of ninety. As a spiritual leader, he has made an impact on my life in significant ways through multiple aspects that are profitable in fulfilling my destiny. In some ways, he inspired me to think different. Then one day, he talked about freewill and the controversy surrounding it. I was mesmerized. I kept on thinking and wondering the possibilities and their implications. It became the quest of my life.
Most people have impacted my life, but one person particularly has impacted my life greatly. My granddad was the person that has impacted my life ever since I was born. Even though my grandpa has been dead for 10 years going on 11 he still impacts my life daily. Since we had a close relationship I always knew when he is around even though he is gone. He would have inspired me in ways that most people never didn’t. I miss him plenty, but luckily his spirit is still with us no matter what happens.
Life seems to take many twists and turns that somehow mesh into each other to form a chaotic knot of happenings. All of these occurrences are supposed to shape you into a wiser more experienced person. Many people can even pin point the exact moment in their life which was forever changed by a single event. When that event happens it becomes an unforgettable memory for you and teaches you a lesson that becomes one of the basic guidelines in your life. The event that forever changed me and was most significant to me was when I decided what I planned on doing for the rest of my life; choosing my major. I knew exactly what I would plan on doing my
Whether or not a person admits it, everyone on the planet has the desire to be remembered. They want to leave an impression on the people around them and leave those people with fond memories of who they were and what they did. For me, the idea of making an impact on someone’s life was my ultimate goal. However, it took me a while to discover how exactly that goal would be achieved.
When asked who was the most influential person in my life without any hesitation I knew it was my father. My father has impacted my life greatly and has helped me become the person I am today. He has helped me in many ways; he pushes me to be the best, he is always there for me, and he possesses good qualities that I try to obtain.
He is one person who has influenced my life in a positive manner. He has helped me to understand many people and things, that before I met him, I would have given up on. I am amazed at his capabilities of understanding about anything from a math problem to the
He has told me before was to believe in yourself no matter what and to not worry about what people say because that just means that they are jealous about you and want you to believe that you are not good enough to do something that you really want to do. He has also told me to do what I want to do than someone forcing me to do it. This influence had made me to talk to more people and get to know them and also to get to know new things that I did not even know that I was possible to do. This has also made me able to do things that I want like any sports or anything I want and ignore the people that are negative about my ways.
i enjoy all his work. One of my favorite quotes by him is ¨ Be the type of person that when your feet touch the ground in the morning the Devil says aww sh@t there up¨. I also like more quotes like, for ex:¨Wake up determined and go to bed satisfied¨. He has been around for a while, but I just didn't realize it till I got older, I liked him ever since.
Over time, there have been several people who have influenced various aspects of my life, based on their personal characteristics, accomplishments, and values. I have been privileged to have had numerous teachers and professors who I respect for their patience and intelligence. There are artists that have inspired me by their natural talents and original creativity. I value many political leaders, who have inspired me by their contributions to society, and their ability to change our futures. Of all the people I have encountered in my life, the person I admire most is my father.
It is easy to say that a parent has had the most influence on your life, they taught you how to walk, talk, drink and among many other things hopefully right from wrong. A good parent is there for you most of your life, quick to lend a hand or offer advice (unless it’s your mother-in-law) when needed, but the trait that impacted my life the most was the integrity my father exhibited with me and the people lucky enough to have met him.
