What is human nature? Human Nature is characteristics or feelings shared by all humans. In “The Midas Touch” Midas is an example of human nature being greedy. Also, in the text “Are We Naturally Good or Bad?” shows that humans are naturally good based on an experiment. Lastly, in the video “The Myth of Human Nature” humans have certain needs that should be met. In all of these texts there are amazing examples of human nature and how humans would act in situations related to the topic.

In the article “Are We Naturally Good or Bad?” human nature is good based on an experiment in which babies had to pick what shape they wanted. In the experiment the babies picked the nicer motivations of the bad motivations. Because people become selfish it causes the destruction of human nature. In the video it says, “Companionship is one of the things people need.” This is an example of what people need to keep happy and in peace. Shortly after that quote the video states, “If those needs are met people will be cooperative and if not it will cause chaos.” This shows that we can be greedy and act out if we don’t get certain things but if we do get them everyone will be happy. In conclusion, our needs should be met in order for things to stay peaceful and that is a good example of human nature.

In conclusion, these three texts provide examples of human nature and different types of it. In the first paragraph it explains how babies are good examples of human nature being good. In the second paragraph,Midas, was very greedy for gold. Lastly, in the third paragraph it tells us about the different needs humans have in order to be happy.
