With the NFL playoffs on the horizon, the Minnesota Vikings are flying high with the NFC North division title and one of the best records in the NFC. With everything is going right at quarterback, the team will have to make an important decision involving Case Keenum, Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater come to the off-season. With all 3 quarterbacks set to be free agents, which of them will stay longer than this season? Teddy Bridgewater Drafted by the team with the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2014 draft, Teddy Bridgewater has potential to be the franchise quarterback that can lead the team to the next level. In the last year of his rookie deal and about to become an unrestricted free agent in a few months, Bridgewater value is not as high as it would be thanks to the injury which is good for Minnesota. The team can't lose him, so taking a gamble on him being fully healthy is the best option. With the way Keenum is playing now, would not surprise me if Bridgewater leaves this off-season if he isn't promised his starting job back or at least a fair chance to earn his job back. Prediction Bridgewater resigns with the team on a one to two-year contract. After his injury, it is not smart to lock him up long term. Signing Bridgewater to a short-term 1 to a 2-year deal would be the best option for the team and would give Bridgewater the chance to earn his starting job back and prove why he deserves a big long-term extension. Not a lot teams besides Minnesota will likely not be interested due to his injury. Sam Bradford Just after losing Bridgewater and the season approaching fast, the team acquired Sam Bradford from the Philadelphia Eagles for a 1st round pick in the 2017 draft. In 15 starts last season, Bradford threw for 3,877 yards, 20 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 99.3 passer rating and a 71.6 completion percentage which is a Vikings team and league record for the highest season completion percentage.
