In Act II of The Crucible by Arthur Miller, Abigail has a drastic effect on the town without being present in the play by condemning many people to horrible witchcraft accusations and creating a sense of fear and paranoia in the town. To begin, Abigail makes merciless accusations of many people being bewitched. This is often solely done because Abigail has feeling of disdain towards the person. This is evident by this quote exclaimed by Elizabeth Proctor, “She will cry me out until they take me!” (Miller 1274). Elizabeth is fearful and appalled because Abigail accuses her of being a witch. There is no just cause or evidence for this claim, but Abigail Williams is a crazy girl who is engulfed with jealousy; she only accuses Elizabeth of being
"If my men are too scared to return without Hannah Curtis, I will happily let Miss Curtis kill them. There is no room for cowardice in these ranks, boys. I, however, am no coward and an honorable warrior will let me go free back to my Queen." The Commander sounds disgusted as he raises his voice to address me, assuming I'm somewhere near him. Which is true, obviously, yet he can't be sure.

In the theater, the role of a performer is to convince the audience they are something or someone they are not. In much the same way actors pretend to fool the audience, politicians likewise use acting to conceal their true political goals from potential opponents. This strong association between the theater and politics is readily apparent in Julius Caesar. The conspirators led by Cassius and Brutus use acting to conceal their politically motivated goal to assassinate Caesar. Marc Antony likewise uses acting to not only conceal his hatred for the conspirators, but to also turn public opinion against them. This relationship between politics and the theater is reinforced by having various characters directly reference the theater when discussing political goals. However, in the end, Antony manages to emerge victorious. This is largely due to Brutus’s decision to not only spare him but to allow him to speak at Caesars funeral. This decision marks a key turning point in the play and highlights a disconnect between Brutus and the theater. This disconnect results in the failure to anticipate not only Antony’s true intentions, but also in the power of rhetoric to sway the populace. Equally important is Antony’s own complete immersion in the theater to allow him to deceive the conspirators and recognize how best to use his words to influence the people. These two factors build off each other and are critical in determining the eventual conclusion
Why do we think is climate change so essential? Global climate change is now recognised as one of the foremost environmental challenge of the 21st century and there are very strong evidences for human influence on climate change through emissions of green house gases (like carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels, methane from other sources). Climate change is essential for health in two main ways- first, it is now necessary to learn to adapt to climate change as some degree of climate change appears inevitable and there is a need to consider how to protect the population against its adverse impacts. Secondly, there is much a need to mitigate which means to reduce the human impact of climate change through reduction of green house gases, changes in energy use, transportation sector (reducing toxic air pollution)1.
