This government program has developed to become a huge organization in concurrence ingwith the issues of mental illnesses.The National Institute of Mental health also known as NIMH Has an excellent mission statement,which is "The mission of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure."(NIMH, year last updated?).Their site for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder is top notch. It is easy to navigate through and has an excellent navigational menu. Good! National Institute of Mental Health is missing one thing that the Center of Drug Control alsoControl, also known as the CDC ,has over them. The link"Is it ADHD?" (CDC) this link on their page is a way to enter symptoms to see if you or your child could possibly have ADHD (CDC, 2014). This would be super helpful to people who are curious to see if them or their children have ADHD and reassure them that this is going on.This is also a place where someone could rule out that their child has ADHD and could understand that some behaviors are normal.
