Globalization is the process by which the markets of different countries become integrated due to the exchange of goods, services, technology, and capital. Globalization depends on social, economic, and political factors, and continuously alters the way that the world works. All the vital components of the evolving global, political, economic and social institutions being examined seem to constantly converge and to perpetually intertwine during the day to day administration of global affairs. Diplomacy is employed to keep a measured balance between conflict and cooperation. The global guarantees of international law are placed in sharp contrast to the grim reality of human rights on daily basis and policy is dictated by the scales of political power and the urgent priorities of economic necessity. To understand how the globe functioned in the past and how it wishes to function in the future, we must study each factor separately and observe its inevitable interactivity with the other factors that occur. It is important to note that none of the dynamics can be given greater weight in comparison to the other crucial instrumentalities.

Globalization is one of the 21st century’s most important politics topic. I have heard the term globalization in my economics lecture and in political debates. Some of my friends argued when I asked them if globalization is changed global politics in a positive way or negative way. Some of them argued saying that globalization is a positive development as it gives rise to new industries and more job opportunities in developing countries, to which I agreed to.

The issue of globalization for the people of the United States has been a long and terrifying problem for them. Although other countries many have had issues with this problem it appears the U.S. is still being affected by it to this day. Although not everyone in the United States may have been affected by the issue. Majority of the people (mid class and lower class) have somehow been affected by it or knows someone that has been affect because of it. This issue of globalization has been talked about by politicians so it appears it had to been a major impact to the country. Thus, this issue of globalization has been an issue for the United States for a long-time way before the twentieth centuries. Therefore, this paper will discuss what is globalization and how it has impacted Americans views and how some people’s views changed because of it and finally, what is the impact of communications technology. All these key topics will help with getting a better understanding of what these issue is and how it has affected society today.

Indeed, globalization is no longer something to be skeptical of, it is very real and is changing our world exponentially. Thanks to the new technologies of communication, we are well informed about our closest and farthest neighbors across the entire world. Our nations and, indirectly we, the citizens, are all impacted by international matters and our nation’s foreign policy choices. Generally, globalization has affected many nations in various ways; economically, politically, and socially. It’s a fast integration and association of various nations, which shapes the world affairs on a global level. The concept of globalization is evident in the many difficult challenges that come with it, involving our cultural differences, and the regulating challenge of globalizations. The phenomenon of globalization has affected many cultures around the world, resulting in the Americanization of other nations.

In ways, progression under neoliberalism has assisted in pushing globalization to establish things like social norms and cultural approaches like western ways of living. In this paper, I will be discussing the pros and cons of globalization and everything you need to understand and know about it.

Globalization is communication among the people, businesses, and governments of different countries. It has caused massive changes to the world because of all the downsides that is has. Globalization is currently a controversial issue because some people think it’s a good thing, but some people think it’s a bad thing. It means something different to everyone. The consequences of globalization have been mostly bad because lower-skilled workers got lower wages, had to work more, and had poor working conditions. Also, it causes environmental devastation and health issues. Although globalization can be bad, it can also be good because everybody involved can be developed even if their countries are losing jobs because of the developing world.

Smallpox, slavery and extinction is what globalization brought to the native americans. Yes it had its good fruits, but the bad ones far outweigh the goods ones. Globalization is the movement of goods, capital, services, people, technology and information. It is the action or procedure of international integration of countries arising from the convergence of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture. Advances in the means of transport (such as the steam locomotive, steamship, jet engine, and container ships) and in telecommunications infrastructure (including the rise of the telegraph and its modern offspring, the Internet and mobile phones) have been major factors in globalization, generating further interdependence of economic and cultural activities. Globalization is largely overlooked by people and governments alike which has lead to a neglect of the negative effects it has on native and local traditions, customs and cultures. Globalization decimates local culture because more often than not, the bad outweighs the good. Globalization is happening rapidly but the global government lacks the means to regulate and direct it toward useful and beneficial results.

Globalisation is considered one of the greatest milestones that have happened to the world. Before 25 years, no one imagines that s/he can buy a shirt or even a mobile cover from a different country and it will be shipped in few days. Although the term globalisation is founded in the nineteenth century, the application of this concept become obvious and widely use in the last 25 years (Dicken, 2007). The next section of this report defines globalisation term. The third section mentions some of the positive and negative impacts of globalisations. Transnational criminals have been one of the biggest beneficiaries of globalization (Stewart, 2012, para2). Globalization means that whole countries are becoming one single world as boosting interdependence in international society. In other words, it is the phenomenon that economy of nation states has become weak, and all over the world integrate into an one community centering on economic markets. However, different from an intrinsic mean, images of globalization have been changed to pessimistic perspective because a lot of criminals have been offered illicit benefits from there. More serious problems are they exploiting globalization on decidedly worst crimes, and governments cannot delay the speed of global crimes, let alone that solving this issue because of these reasons. So, many kinds of crimes such as, human trafficking, drug smuggling, and cybercrime that worked with organized crime have been accelerating with the dramatic growth of globalization.

Globalization is currently a very hot topic and many people have an awful lot to say about the matter, creating different theories and points of view. A definition of globalization could be, ‘The straightforward exchange between core and peripheral areas based upon a broad division of labour, is being transformed into a highly complex, kaleidoscopic structure involving the fragmentation of many production processes and their geographical relocation on a global scale in ways which slice through national boundaries.’ (Dicken ’98).

Globalization has positive and negative impacts on individuals and nations as a whole. Globalization allows people to connect and communicate with one another. It also allows nations to trade or transfer goods easier and quicker. Another positive attribute to globalization is new markets. Globalization can also decrease the number of poor nations. However, not all countries benefit form globalization. Due to globalization, some nations remain poor and gain debt. There economy becomes bankrupt, the government collapses, and people remain poor. Also, globalization has led to ethnic hatred and genocides. Many nations see globalization as a negative thing because it changes the nations values and sexual morals. To eliminated the negative side of globalization, laws need to be put into place to protect a nations original values. Also, a system need to be developed to ensure that globalization assists the poor and eliminates debt.

Across the world, globalization is one of the most significant aspects that has occurred over the last fifty years. It allows a country to integrate economically with other countries through a global network comprised of people, trade, and transportation. With the global landscape only becoming more intertwined, globalization and its inherent pros and cons seem to be here to stay. In many areas, global powers tend to lack in rectifying the negative aspects and only focus on the positive side. America, for example, is a leader in the globalization efforts, even though it has greatly effected job opportunities at home, widening income gaps, and an increased standard of living due to fluctuating world markets.

Economic globalization refers to interdependence of economies around the world as a result of flow of Capital, Labor, Natural Resources, and Technology across borders. The development of communication and transportation technologies coupled with digitization of all processes is resulting in fast expansion and integration of market economies. Globalization of the financial sector has become the most rapidly developing and most influential aspect of economic globalization. The Multinational corporations (MNCs) have become the main carriers of economic globalization. They are globally organizing production and allocating resources according to the principle of profit maximization. Their global expansions are reshaping macroeconomic mechanisms of the operation of the world economies. Globalization has positive and negative impact on developed and developing countries however the loss of lower skilled job in developed countries is sensitive impact however there are overall positive impact in the world.
