Rion calmed from his night terror easily, and he and Percival went back to sleep. When morning arrived, Rion shot out of bed with a grin, full of his typical energy. He had no memory of his tears and screaming the previous night, which was just as well; the boy deserved peace after all the heartache he had weathered.
Since Percival and Rion woke early, they broke the fast in the Dining Hall instead of their quarters. Rion shoveled warm fennel porridge into his mouth, then announced he was off to see his puppy before lessons. He rushed away from the table, calling, "Goodbye, Father," over his shoulder as he ran.
"Have a good day," Percival replied, but Rion was already gone.
Fleur entered the Dining Hall and took a seat on the bench next

Percival had guard duties all day until supper, and spent most of his time marching back and forth on the castle wall-walk, peering into the distance with a scowl on his face. Fortunately, he guarded with Leon, who understood Percival 's need for quiet today. If Gwaine had been assigned to the wall-walk, his chatter and questions might have driven Percival mad.
For hours, Percival fretted, concerned that Fleur was really angry at him. Perhaps she wouldn 't forgive his sharpness earlier. Maybe she wanted to end their betrothal. After ages of ruminating and getting so worked up his stomach hurt, the moment the relief guards turned up, Percival charged back to his chamber without so much as acknowledging his fellow knights.
He burst inside, prepared to drop to his knees and ask for forgiveness, but nothing seemed amiss. In fact, Fleur had a lovely supper waiting on the table – roast pigeon and mashed parsnips dotted with thick dollops of butter.
"Good, you 're here, Father," said Rion, holding out a chair. "Sit, sit! I 'm starving."
"Right. So am I."
Percival took a seat and ate his meal, despite his roiling stomach. Fleur smiled at him during supper and made pleasant conversation, but something seemed to be bothering her. She was probably still upset with him and waiting to give him a piece of her mind, or
Francies sounded extremely upset and with a loud voice started talking regarding yesterday appointment. The writer tried hard to listen and follows what she said, as she was telling her many things at once and she could hear Francies’ daughter talking in the background.
She speaks of a time when she simply feels like making quiches many times in one week and so her husband simply suggests something that would have been better then quiche and so an inner battle begins to take place in her mind. For her cooking is what she takes the most pride in and so what her first instinct is is to punish her husband by giving him the silent treatment. However she remembers what they had
Gideon stood rather abruptly and jogged the table causing his coffee to spill. He dabbed at it with his napkin as he waved at the man like a little school girl who saw their mommy. The man had not looked up, but headed directly for Gideon’s
Percival shook his head and turned back around. Gwaine had done some pretty imbecilic things in his time, but this topped them all. Still, when Gwaine got a notion in his head…
Colette would have taken more time to examine herself but her stomach snarled audibly at her as she finished latching on her gauntlets. Food seemed like the best idea ever. She made her way down the steps, eager to see Faustus again... but more eager for
Amelia silently ate her breakfast, unsure of what to talk about with the young Earl. The silence, however, was very much awkward to her. However, she wasn't sure if it was awkward to Ciel. She couldn't help but enjoy the food. "My lord, if I may, this breakfast your cook has prepared is very much delicious." She complimented, breaking the awkward silence that previously filled the air. Ciel looked up at Amelia, studying her for a second. He knew Bardroy really didn't cook the meal. However, he was surprised that someone complimented something that was presented to them. "He will be most excited to hear your compliment." Ciel responded before taking a drink of his hot tea. She giggled softly, as she copied his actions. But of course, not on purpose.
After Myles and the Baroness had left Antoine’s, Boudreaux returned. I could see that he was upset, maybe even angry- I wished it were where I could question him. Louis turned to me and apologized for his lack of skill in handling such matters. I did not know exactly what he meant, but nodded my head and told him it was fine.
"I reckon it's time for breakfast.” Bard said, changing the subject "What do you guys want?" The cook asked "I'll have eggs, hold the dynamite" Finny said raising his hand "Me too" Mayrin said as she and Finny sat down to wait. The peaceful silence in the room was suddenly shattered by Sebastian's crying. "You must be hungry too.” Mayrin said, smiling. "Mayrin, what do baby's eat?" Finny asked, causing Mayrin's cheeks to flush red. “Oh! Well, I've got some roses to take care of in the garden so I’ll be back later I guess" Finny stammered, backing out of the room, his face bright red. Finny pulled the door open, nearly ripping it off its hinges, and ran out. "Now it’s just you and me.” Mayrin said, untying her apron and unbuttoning her

They want her to stay for ten minutes, and Gabriel offers to see her home. She will walk, but Miss Ivors doesn’t want the help. She can take care of herself. Gabriel wonders if he was the reason she left, but she didn’t appear mad. She left laughing. Kate comes running as everyone is hungry and Gabriel must carve the goose. There is a lot of food, and Gabriel begins to carve the goose. He enjoys the carving. He asks what everyone would like. Lily helps serve potatoes, and there is much noise. The King rose from his chair, dabbing the corner of his mouth. “It was?” he utters, his gray eyes void of expression. “The pie I had was divine. You do not know what you’re missing,” he comments, setting down his napkin. He catches a glimpse of the Taster’s body. “Oh, such a shame,” he voice, matter-of-factly.
After stoking the fire in the hearth, Percival glanced around the room. For the moment, Rion lay in Percival’s bed. There was so much Rion would need: a bed of his own, privacy curtains, books, a study desk, and toys; Percival would make sure the boy had toys. And Rion had no formal education as of yet, but as the ward of a knight, Rion would need to start his studies right away, which meant Percival would need to purchase wax tablets, more writing implements, and whatever else the castle tutor demanded. Percival’s head was spinning with the thoughts of all that needed to be done.
“That 's right son; he sure does,” Henry smiled. “Now, let 's get in there and eat, before your mama gets mad at us for making her wait any longer.”
Ellie brought out the dishes of the freshly cooked meal, everyone looked up from their conversations in delight. This was their first meal together and it had been days since they had eaten. Ellie with knowledge on how to cook hare, brought on the job and prepared it with the only three ingredients they had over a fire. Once the meals were served on leaves, everyone began to eat and very quickly.
Once he was settled in his hotel room, his stomach growled as loud as a bear’s. Justin wished for a feast. Immediately thereafter, a feast appeared on a table in the corner of his room. Somehow, in only 20 short minutes, he devoured every morsel of the feast. He thanked the woman.
'Oooh, what happened?' Elayn leaned forward looking eager to hear Merlin's explanation. Merlin groaned as he looked around the room. Percival was quietly smiling, as was Leon.
